He is trying to sell them. With the t56/tremec you need a 4.28 diff to get decent gearing, a small case 3.7 will be wrong and wouldn't last two min at any decent power, the only option is the Ford diff that Joel runs himself.

It is a crazy price but somebody will probably buy it, it's big problem gearboxs and diffs drying up.

T56/tremec is no good in a supra, there isn't a supra diff available with the correct ratios to work with it, so his comment isn't valid imo.

You think it's faster because you are changing gear more often.

It's not rocket science dude, wheel turns faster and the car goes further down the road with each gear. Close ratios are good on low powered cars, but a supra (especially a single powered supra) has more than enough grunt to pull the gears.

That's the best ratio, ever wondered why yank cars are so fast? I have a 3.6 ratio on the M3 and trying to figure out how I can get a 3.1, looks like I may be able to use the e36 evo diff which is 3.15

Auto diff on a manual v160/v161 may feel fast with the closer ratios but I can assure you it won't be. Car will be slower.

Veilside overfenders is wide arch I think, not wide body as in TRD or Nur.

Lexus diff isn't LSD, but is the right 3.2 ratio for the v160/v161

For BPU power you are best off fitting a TT engine over going NA-T I think. If you want 500+Hp then well spec'd NA-t would be best.

How much power do you want? Car auto or manual?

I would have money on it being arm bushes, happened to me a few times on various supras.

Almost sure there is something wrong with your supra, wishbones bushes worn most likely.

I love the adrenaline of high speed, been over 200mph many times. Every time I do a big speed run in a supra it looks like the bonnet is going to come up, defiantly something to watch out for. Forget what any speedo says. GPS only. So much easier going 200+ on motorbikes. If you have an iPhone try the mototracker app, very easy to use. this was on my H2.

Car is looking great and good on David for helping you. Hopefully this can be a discussion without people getting their knickers in a twist. I can't see any way to test the calipers other than sending back to brembo, but I doubt they would be interested tbh, for saftey I honestly think you are mad running them brakes. Better to buy different brakes or wheels that clear them withought chopping calipers up. This picture shows that's a huge amount of metal you removed.
