  1. Pick your wrapper well and they can look stunning, ive seen some awesome GTR's done now, PW Pro and valet magic seem to be the best in the game, I like this matt Orange and satin red, the red is tempting. http://www.pwpro.co.uk/cars/?portfolio=nissan-gtr-6 http://www.valetmagic.com/ [video=youtube;l-fMFSdrzq0] http://just.razzi.me/photos/903743/a8f9cd5.jpg
  2. Very hard to get much of a response from a lot of these places. Whats peoples thoughts on woodbridge? Javelin have been the only people to show interest to date. 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile timed standing starts, two lane racing. Handling circuit, no drifting. http://www.javelintrackdays.co.uk/trackday/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6
  3. I really could not care less about the car tbh or what you think of me. Im just picking up on the point about a reliable £3000 550bhp supra, hate to see any members fall into that trap reading certain posts in this thread, going single turbo is not to taken lightly IMO, it's not something to be done on a tight budget, I've seen to many members over the years make the mistake of thinking they can afford it only to get into a heap of debt and end up with a below average car.
  4. I did see one of them, I will keep my thoughts to myself on that though, I think I have upset you enough as it is;) If you can build reliable 550bhp single Supras for £3000 then even with putting a decent chunk of profit on top you could ruin every trader on this forum, somehow I can't see it happening
  5. Sudden change of plan, spill the beans then?
  6. Rob was spot on. For 550bhp keep it simple, drop in injectors, single walbro pump will do just fine. Whifbitz turbokit is very nice, also SRD are bringing out a new turbokit in the new year I hear. Single plate clutch such as a RPS street max, SRD do some decent intercoolers that won't break the bank. Decent ecu (syvecs if budget allows) and a good mapper.
  7. Truth hurts sometimes, I can't listen to the bollox.
  8. Sorry but that thing you built was a heap, you broke it for parts before even having it mapped iirc, the other one was no better, seemed to break every time you drove it. Do it once and do it right, quality parts and a decent mechanic.
  9. Vette is a car I always regret never owning, I should have bought one instead of the Monaro. I say go for it.
  10. I see, just never something I've seen as an issue.
  11. Boost lab still sell them, you would not believe the amount of pm's I get asking where I got mine from. http://www.theboostlab.com/store/products/MKIV-Supra-Carbon-Fiber-Heat-Shield.html
  12. R35 is not a Skyline though.
  13. It's been a long road but you are getting there now, being supercharged I thought the torque might be higher tbh, that's a long way down from even a stock TT.
  14. Don't go with the kumhos, they are rubbish, can't beat R888's IMO, can't wait to get a set on mine come the spring.
  15. Thanks for the kind words Rob:) 1. SW's Supra, fastest ever standing mile Supra, the only 6 speed Supra to get in the 7's, stunning looking car. 2. Bryce grossmans red supra, the one that hit 800 odd rwhp back in the late 90's, that was the car that first got me looking at Supras. 3. Jun Supra, watching that video of the big drift on track all them years back made think nothing but Supras day and night.
  16. Most likely a split pipe or you have plumbed something in wrong when messing with the bay, Ryan won't be able to help with either unless the car is In front of him.
  17. So far I have emailed and left messages at= Bruntingthorpe Straight liners Javelin Book a track Anyone has any suggestions for people I can contact for a 1/4 and 1/2 standing start event that can also hold a small/medium drift or handling circuit let me know.
  18. Yeah to be fair April could well be fine, at the beginning of the summer it should get a good turnout an all, everyone is keen to get out after the long winter.
  19. Bruntingthorpe could be good, we had a club day there when I first joined.
  20. How about Javelin for an airfield type day JB? http://www.fightingtorque.org/torque/index.php
  21. 1/2 mile event would be cool, standing mile is silly speeds and can be dangerous. I'm looking forward to next years MLR 30-130, that always seemed a good event.
