Assuming you're pre facelift.... and on the understanding you have the master warning light (triangle on rev counter) and brake warning light (circle in brackets with exclamation mark in it) stuck on....I can't see how the active spoiler would trigger them two together. The brake light should only come on with the hand brake or brake fluid level...albeit it is connected to the ABS ecu. Maybe the connections to that have been knocked? Can only advise disconnecting each attached switch (hand brake - brake level etc) and see which one turns the light off. I've attached a screen shot of what I was looking at

what year is your's? Only ask cos I'm trying to work through some MIL issues myself. Can't personally see on the wiring diagrams why the missing active spoiler ecu would trigger the CEL though. Have you got the wiring diagrams? Also, have you had a look at this thread:

It's for a 97 Na manual....albeit it's currently got an aftermarket steering wheel and has had its airbag wires cut so will probably have to make something connection wise anyway...unless the airbags run a different number of pins? Only need one other pin for the horn.

Looking for a clock spring for the horn and airbag - like in pic. Thanks

Thanks again. Just started watching some of the firmware vids on syvecs' YouTube, I'll see how brave I'm feeling Monday I think I got the pins worked out now so hopefully it will correspond to what's in the car

Thanks Mike, I think I might be able to bin off traction control switch at some point as the rotary knob does nothing at the moment anyway (maybe switch it on the toucan later?) Just trying to work out the pin numbers so I can follow what is actually connected - I think I'm slowly figuring it out

Just trying to figure out what goes where as wiring is a bit of a mess and air con is not working at the mo. Could anybody help me figure out how the pin assignment descriptions in scal relate to pin numbers? None of the descriptions in the manual show up in scal (or am I just being daft?). Been searching in circles on the interweb Many thanks to anyone who can assist

Had a similar problem with my Honda, changed the plugs and it hasn't happened since. I've also heard of people reporting the same symptoms and found the immobiliser at fault.

This sounds well dodgy to me - I would steer clear of it. The only way I would sell my car abroad (which I have done) is to get the shipping agent to draw out the cash from a bank in my presence and hand it over.

Looking at the speedhunter pics I like it + thumbs up if Toyota are encouraging tuners to make bits for it - lowered, better wheels + red rear lights it will look sweet
