  1. Thanks Bijal - I appreciate that although doesn't look like there are many people looking for a set at the moment?!?! I am in a tough spot so am open to sensible offers via PM (I do mean sensible as these are brand new and not cheap!). Cheers, Pete
  2. Could also try Paul Whiffin from Whifbitz who imports some very tasty Supe's as well (www. whifbitz.co.uk). Not sure though if he has any stock at the moment!! Seems to sell them before they arrive!!! The For Sale section can be a good place to nose around if your getting a loan and there are plenty of knowledgeable peeps around the UK who can give anything a good once over if you like something in there. Welcome to the forum and top choice of car m8!! You won't regret it!!! (except maybe the fuel and insurance costs oh and the endless mods if you are that way inclined!!! ) Nah, I'm kidding! Worth every penny IMHO. All the best, Pete
  3. Welcome aboard m8. Just noticed your near my kneck of the woods as well (live in Essex near Saffron Walden but my son is in Royston so always around there!!) Steve L is another top bloke from here and is 15mins from mine so another local member. Hope to see you at a meet sometime - You may want to check out the thread under the Events for the East on the forum as I am organising a charirty BBQ / Meet sometime towards the end of August that you are more than welcome to attend (nice chance to see some Supe's and meet some owners) Any queries or advice drop me a PM and if I can't help I would hope to point you in the right direction!! All the best and great choice you won't regret it!! Pete
  4. Cheers for that Robert. It is a beast of a car!!! I'm not doing the single for the moment - Doing the suspension, brakes, new alloys, grey carpet, bucket seats and some exterior changes instead (once the Skyline sells that is!! oh, and probably put a few quid back in the bank to keep them off my back!! ) Sorry to hear the single conversion on the Aristo is having some teething issues! Hope it all works out for you though m8. Will be good to see it sometime!! Pete
  5. Hey Guys, The sad day has come where the bank manager has decided to refuse my request to increase my overdraft again!!! I'm running very low on funds due to a self-induced purchase at the Japshow so need some money to keep me out of the red!!! The cams and pulleys are brand spanking new (I did the group buy with Lucifer at MKIV store and these haven't to date even been delivered to me!) and I got the pulleys from Paul at Whifbitz a month or so back (still in their boxes). I may be able to get Martin aka Lucifer to change the delivery address so these go straight to the new owner rather than via me but will PM him to see if that's still possible. I want £500 + P&P (may be for cams and pulleys or just pulleys depending on what I can organise with Martin). These are very competitively priced and are not open to negotiation (i.e don't try knocking me down! I may be desperate but i'm not stupid!!). As usual with me it's first come first served so please don't try gazumping people as I won't do this to the first buyer with the money who wants them. Thanks in advance, Pete
  6. 'as long as it does not rain' - Sadly I am still attempting to master the art of weather control but will do what I can!!! No that's fair enough m8 and I believe the 5 day forecast is looking reasonable for that area! (crosses fingers!!). Can anyone needing further info of any sort give me a call on the mobile number I provided please. Hoping to see you all on Saturday at 10:30 at the postcode I supplied earlier on in the thread. Any worries give me a shout. Cheers, Pete
  7. 1. Peter P 2. Adam 3. ChrisSZ (late arrival expected!) 4. ToyotaTom (iffy!! ) 5. Gamer 6. RobAce 7. BURT 8. zap 9. 10. Thanks for the update guys, Muffleman I hope you get it all sorted ASAP m8, must be a nightmare not getting the full use of your car! May be in a similar position myself soon due to a few plans I've got!!! dal007_ - Not to worry m8 if your hands are tied as such then that's what you need to do. ToyotaTom was a question mark last week - Any news m8 on whether you can make it??? We are now only 5 and a bit days away guys so if you need to ask me anything please do. The postcode should be enough to get you to my bro's place which is as I said 2mins from the school so that isn't a problem. My mobile number is: 07734 994867 If you could all have it with you and ring me if you have any problems before Saturday I'd be grateful. Should be ok to help with directions if any of you get stuck so just let me know. For those who have been unable to make it, thanks for trying and wanting to help put on a good show for the kids I really appreciate it. At the end of the day I was asked to provide 2/3 for this and was bowled over by the positive response from you all, even if we lost anymore (please don't!!! ) those who make it will be more than enough i'm sure. Remember, when we all get too old for these beasties it's the kids who will be responsible for seeing this legend thrive and prosper!!!! Thanks again and call me if you need to. Cheers, Pete
  8. Hey, toyotatom - Not a worry m8. You've still got just over a week to go so if you can get her running in time then we'll look forward to seeing you otherwise I guess you'll not make it!! Let me know middle of next week what the latest is on the patient! Thanks for letting me know. Pete
  9. Hi Guys!! Sorry it's been a while since we've progressed this event (been on Holiday for a week with awful internet connection!!). Ok, So we can scratch the 6th and the 13th which leaves either Sunday 20th August or Sunday 27th August?? Both days are fine for me/ the pub and the only consideration I'm waiting on is when Pete from Thor can attend and bring the dyno along. I will e-mail him again today and advise we have narrowed it down to 2 possibilities from the original 4 we suggested. Can we start a new list for which of the above dates is ok for peeps please?! I'll start: 1. Peter P - Both days are fine 2. 3. 4. 5. Thanks guys for your patience and hopefully we can stick with the date this time and not clash with anything!!! Pete
  10. No problem ChrisSZ - If you would still like to come along then that won't be a problem but if you would rather cancel that's fine as well. Your call m8 but you are more than welcome at the later arrival time! Let me know what you can do. Cheers, Pete
  11. 1. Peter P 2. Adam 3. ChrisSZ 4. ToyotaTom 5. Gamer 6. Muffleman 7. Dal007_ 8. RobAce 9. BURT 10. zap Not to worry supra_surj work does come first!! If you can get there just let me know m8. Guys no worries on the convoy principal (we are due to be at the town hall cark park in Birling for around 10:30 and then the school is 10 metres away for last minute cleaning etc!) which is a meet point of sorts but for further afield I'll leave you guys to work out any details you want. Can Muffleman confirm if he can get to this yet?! I know he had some doubt a week or so back but was not strictly a no go????? Is everyone happy with the plan and using the postcode I supplied to get your directions or would people prefer more specific route planning?! Let me know and I can go from there. Only 2 and a bit weeks to go!!! Cheers, Pete
  12. Hi all, Thanks for the latest additions: 1. Peter P 2. Adam 3. ChrisSZ 4. ToyotaTom 5. Gamer 6. Muffleman 7. Dal007_ 8. Supra_Surj 9. RobAce 10. BURT 11. zap To answer the other bits: Yes this is confirmed for Saturday 1st July so that is a fixed date for everyone to work with. Also, I spoke to my sister-in-law last night and this is officially titled as 'the school summer fete' and will be raising money for the school (therefore a fund-raiser as opposed to anything elsa). There will be a BBQ, beer tent, stalls including beat the goalie etc as well as raffles, face painting etc. I am just waiting for confirmation of any space limitations and will let you know as soon as I get any further info. Looks good for a mini-meet and a nice day out after the Japshow at Santa Pod the week before! Any further queries let me know and I will also sort out the directions for anyone who needs them, otherwise, the postcode I supplied will be enough for anyone who wants to look it up with AA routeplanner etc. The postcode again for ease of reference is: ME19 5JR Thanks again and see you soon!! Pete
  13. 'With all due respect' and ' ' kind of cancel each other out don't they?! This is not a school open day my choice of wording is probably not overly clear so apologies! This is a fun day type thing i.e school funday etc with beer tent for parents, games, raffles and face painting etc so not the kind of event you are thinking of. Also, I was approached by my brother who had suggested the idea to the teacher at the school organising the event that we could organise a few Supra's to park up and display to which THEY said yes please that would be different and the kids would love it as they enjoy seeing mine when I visit my brother. Quite what your point is or why you felt the need to post when no one asked for it and we have more than met the target as far as numbers I don't quite understand?! I for one would have loved this kinda thing when I was at school rather than the boring putting contests, face painting and other stuff they did back then! I will sort out some directions for those who need them nearer the day but thanks for your offers to attend and I'll keep you posted. Any other queries let me know. Pete
  14. Would be great if you could attend Matt as I'd love to see that beast in the flesh!!! Not a worry though if you can't swing it m8. So far then we have: 1. Peter P 2. Adam 3. ChrisSZ 4. ToyotaTom 5. Gamer 6. Muffleman 7. Dal007_ 8. Supra_Surj 9. RobAce Gamer like your outlook!! Not like it's the 6th of the 6th of 2006 or anything!!! If any details change etc will let you all know. Is everyone ok with the directions then?? Pete
  15. 1. Peter P 2. Adam 3. ChrisSZ 4. ToyotaTom 5. Gamer 6. Muffleman 7. Dal007_ 8. Supra_Surj Awesome m8 that makes 8 so far (can we get a definite YES from everyone as some are talking about needing to change work schedules etc) could maybe do 2 more if anyone is interested?? Thanks again guys!! Pete
  16. dal007 - More than welcome to attend m8 and as for enough - do kids know the meaning of that word?! No as I said we can probably fit say 10 of us in but I have asked my bro to double check with the school / organisers to confirm if there will be any restrictions on the amount of space/cars we can bring. I will post something up when I get the info but for now consider yourself added to the list dal007!! Cheers, Pete 1. Peter P 2. Adam 3. ChrisSZ 4. ToyotaTom 5. Gamer 6. Muffleman 7. Dal007_ 8. ???????? Even if we say 8 cars that still leaves one space!!
  17. Right this is actually my bro's house postcode but it's literally 200 yards down the road and is fine as a meet point: ME19 5JR toyotatom - If you can use your charm on the admin lady it'd be great as I say if we aim for say 8/10 then that's plenty but as we are talking about 4 weeks time no doubt things may crop up and mean people can't make it but hopefully that's enough notice for people to re-arrange things if possible. There will be a BBQ on the day and a beer tent so that side of things looks covered! The event itself is due to run from 12 - 4 (don't quote me on that as my bro is going to double check but he thinks that's what they agreed) so I reckon if we aim to meet for say 10am that will give us some time to do final cleaning and get the cars parked up etc. If anyone need further info just post up here or PM me and I will get back to you ASAP. Thanks guys for the support and hopefully see you all in just under a month's time! Pete
  18. Guys that's awesome and as mentioned earlier would be great if you can all attend to give the kids a really top notch show!! I will get the postcode details sorted ASAP (speak to my bro at lunchtime today) and stick them up for you guys to checkout. I can tell you it's 5mins from Junction 3 of the M20 close to West Malling which should be traceable but can do a postcode for more accurate location. Gamer, Muffleman, toyotatom would really be good if you can make it to make this more of a show/meet and yes i'm sure there will be a burger van or bbq there somewhere toyotatom!! we all gotta eat right! If Burt and Klump are available as well then get them signed up!! We could see an awesome turnout and something to really get the sleepy villagers pulses racing!! Let me know guys and keep up the cheerleading please Adam!! You will appreciate how awesome 8/10 Supes on show in Birling will be!! Pete
  19. Ok it's official - this is cancelled for July 9th and all of July! August is fine so can we check the Sunday's in August please guys and girls namely: 6th, 13th, 20th or 27th?????? I will need to relay this past the landlady to make sure she hasn't got anything booked in for any of these but let's assume any of them are possibilities! As for kids attending not a problem whatsoever m8!! This is a family day and a chance for everyone to attend and make a bit of money for a good cause so no one will be turned away!! In fact, all kids get free admission/attendance so by all means bring them along. There is a train station nearby as well which being a Sunday will be free parking so any non-jap performance cars can be stashed 2mins up the road. To be honest anyone who likes jap cars and wants to see some big power supes, rx7's, skylines and anything elsa that attends should come over!! Would love to make this an annual meet and the equivalent of a 2nd Bolney!!! :d Although 2,000 cars may be a bit of a tight squeeze!!! I will see if I can get the guys to bring the bouncy castle as well so the kids can do some things they enjoy as well. I can't stress enough this is a FUN day out for ALL enthusiasts and jap performance car owners so anyone you know who would enjoy this sort of thing give them a shout and ask them to join us! Whilst the Supe's will hopefully be the central attraction and the best represented, any jap performance beasties will be welcome!! Also give me some feedback via PM or this thread to add anything you feel is missing or that may be worth looking into to improve it! I want to insure EVERYONE (or the majority at least!!) has a great time so don't hold back on suggestions. Lets start the bidding for August then please peeps! All the best, Pete
  20. I thought BPU was a number of mods as opposed to just a mod?! Not trying to be picky but just what I interpreted! Yes worth doing though mate and your nearly there by the sounds of things! BPU = induction, exhaust (downpipe/doube de-cat), boost controller, uprated fuel pump, de-limiter (for the jap specs), cooler grade of spark plugs and no doubt more i've forgotten!! BPU is graded as well isn't it?! sure i've seen BPU + and ++ and +++ around the place!! Either way, anything to help free up a few more ponies can never be a bad thing IMHO! Only thing to bear in mind is when your remove the cat's it'll show up any turbo weakness because of the reduced pressure so if you get some smoke afterwards that could point to knackered (or tired) tubbies (again just what I picked up so only my advice not gospel!) Hope this helps a bit anyway! Cheers, Pete
  21. 1. Peter P 2. Adam 3. ChrisSZ If you can make it Chris that would help out a lot m8 as it looks like we are going to struggle without you!! 3 is fine so if your ok as well Adam then that'll do us nicely! Cheers guys and i'll keep you posted if anything develops/changes before the 1st July. Thanks again, Pete
  22. I'm tempted to postpone this until the end of July as the weather should be good by then and this won't clash with the World Cup!! In addition, I would really like to get Pete from Thor to attend so we can stick a few cars on the rollers to see what they can do!! The new dates would be either: - 30th July - 23rd July - but would mean no camping probably as there are bands booked in for the Saturday 22nd July. Otherwise, we can go into the beginning of August but not my preference!! The reason being we are trying to do this for charity and get as many people to attend as possible and raise some money but I know the world cup final will draw a fair number of owners/enthusiasts even if we don't reach the final!! Can we all still give me the other details i.e food requirements and t-shirt/brollie orders so I can get these done regardless but I need to know your thoughts on changing the date?? Either PM or stick them up here for us all to see!! If we still have 99% of the people listed available and not fussed about missing the final then will probably go ahead as originally organised! Let me know ASAP please people. Cheers, Pete
  23. Some people have raised the point that Sunday 9th July is the football world cup final!!!! The event would probably kick-off at 9am and run till say 6-7pm and I imagine unless England make the final it won't be as important to watch? (hides behind large object to protect himself!) If it is, there will be a TV in the pub which is surely where most football matches are watched?????? If not, can I get an indication of who would like to postpone the event a week or two??????? Pain in the butt as J-Tuner advetised it for us but I may be able to get them to put a re-draft in next month's issue if necessary! Your comments please peeps!! Pete

Just added whitesupratt as requested. Bad news on the dyno front! Seems Thor are unavailable so it's a no go unless we change the date!! Not sure what you all think as to whether it's worth doing as we have had a limited number of replies to getting a power run so might just leave that side of things off but it's what you guys and girls think that counts????
  25. See below the table of chest sizes and how they correspond to the size of T-Shirt's for consideration when placing your orders: Size S M L XL XXL 3XL* Chest (to fit) 35/37 38/40 41/43 44/46 47/49 50/52 We can also organise female T-Shirts and kids as well but will probably extend the prices for say a month after the event and supply some order forms for anyone needing shirts or umbrella's after the day as it is a big enough logistical nightmare trying to get the mens ones done!! The deadline for guaranteed orders is 09/06/2006 which is the last day before I need to let the guy doing the work know what to order. Any one not specified by then will have to take a chance as there will be a few spares on the day but you may have to get them afterwards as we simply can't afford to have a huge stock on the day. The point i'm making is................ GET ORDERING NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any queries please post here or PM me. Cheers, Pete
