  1. Also noticed no mention iro the FMIC anywhere? 2/3 row make etc? May want to add as well for completeness. Very nice looking car though and worth the money without question! (Searches internet for loan rates!!! )
  2. Also just noticed although you have a category for wheels, suspension and brakes, you don't actually list what brakes are on the car at the moment?! Imagine they are UK spec but might want to add/clarify. Did check your garage just in case you had them in there but no joy so might want to clarify what they are for peeps. I look forward to the engine bay pics and dare I say it, this one is making me sweat bullets as i'm VERY tempted!!! Might try that loan company again and sell my kidneys! (don't drink much so would be ok! ). Best of luck with it and as I say if/where I to have the money, I'd buy it. Going for another Black one eh? Seem to recall you had a UK spec Black one when I was selling mine? You sure go through a fair few cars mate! Cheers. Pete
  3. Ant, Also just noticed although you have a category for wheels, suspension and brakes, you don't actually list what brakes are on the car at the moment?! Imagine they are UK spec but might want to add/clarify. Cheers. Pete
  4. Best of luck with the sale although I can see why you'd hold on to it to be honest mate! Just my 2p worth but I had a UK spec (sludge box sadly!) with CAT D that I sold for £10k with limited history a few months back (seem to remember you posted some encouraging words for me at that stage mate so paying back a debt now! ). Mine was also repaired to a high standard and looked mint so don't be put off by light damage as if it's been repaired properly which this car has it's not a big factor. The cheaper insurance, very high spec and the fact it's known to a large number of members on here means more than the black and white as any true enthusiast should appreciate. Great looking car, desirable manual spec with very tasteful mods. Any engine bay pics? Well priced IMHO. All the best. Pete
  5. Engine internals are generally good for 600HP output provided the engine has been properly serviced on a regular basis and that the setup is correct i.e right fuel/air mix etc. Good question iro the 5-spd/6-spd top in losses, wouldn't be able to comment but maybe one of the NA-T conversion guys will stumble upon this thread as they would be able to support how the 5-spd works. Seems like a very good price as you say for what you are getting as it's the ideal spec being a single converted manual albeit a gear short! Cheers. Pete
  6. A gorgeous example in a simply stunning colour! Best of luck with the sale m8 but as you say it's not worth losing money on them unless you have no choice which by the sounds of it you do so hold out for what you want for it. The only thing I can expect someone to ask is auto or manual as couldn't see this in the spec list? Might want an interior shot and an engine bay pic as well to complete the deal for potential buyers but up to you. Love those wheels! Compliment the car perfectly. Pete
  7. That's the baby!!! Is a truly AMAZING tv with beautiful clarity and a nice fresh look as well. The price makes this probably the best 50' plasma available I reckon! I'd highly recommend it mate as it just looks awesome and does everything you'll need it to do for a very reasonable price tag. Pete
  8. Just my 2p worth but I just got my 50' LG Plasma last week and am VERY chuffed with it! :d Saved myself £700 in the sales as well so made it an even better bargain! Must admit being a London worker and not having anyone at home using it during the day, mine gets maybe 3hrs of use a day so should last a while I hope!!! Picture quality wise, can't be compared to anything including my mates 42' Panasonic Viera - He even rated my LG over the Panasonic and being an ex-manager for PowerHouse and knowing all the tech bumpf that was good enough for me. Horses for courses I guess but I love it!!!!!
  9. Thanxs all for the kind words and MattC don't think you'll be dissapointed as it is a fab car for the money mate. Cheers Imi for the kind words and glad to have been of assistance with the tank reversal!! Hope you got it home to your Dad ok? Will let everyone know the good news once MattC and I have done the deed but this is provisionally sold. Thanks again all. All the best, Pete
  10. Guys, REALLY do need the black plastic trim held in place by a star bolt on the inside of the drivers door that pushes the little button in to say the door is shut properly and turn off the interior dash/courtesy light. It looks very straightforward in that it doesn't have any moving parts etc just a little block of hard black plastic. Also after a drivers electric window switch as mine goes down automatically but not up?!?! Not sure if it should being a UK spec and was ignorant of the fault as it's been that way since I bought it but just to be thorough! Do the switches on a UK match the J-Spec?? Thanks in advance guys as although they are small bits will REALLY help with the pending sale of my Supe! All the best, Pete
  11. Hi all, Following a viewing by Imi and his sister and bro-in law, just a quick update. The car doesn't have working A/C. Should have mentioned it previously but didn't include in the original spec as the aircon rad is non-existent! If you wanted it to work it may just be a case of re-fitting an aircon rad and re-gassing the system as the other key parts i.e pump etc is all still there I believe unless Paul took them off when he fitted the low mileage jap engine?! Will double check and let everyone know. Other than that, spec as previous but any questions don't hesitate to let me know. This is now on hold for an interested party until he PM's me back as he was first in the line for the car. You know who you are MattC!! Cheers all, Pete
  12. Would just add the mileage may appear high but not really for a 94 UK car and with the 2nd hand low mileage import engine which Paul Whiffin supplied and fitted for me when the single was installed and setup it isn't a factor! On top of that things like brakes etc were all done and checked when I bought the car back in Jan 06 so no issues there either. Any interest or questions either PM or post away and i'll get back to you asap. All the best, Pete
  13. Following on from an interested buyer from the forums PM, I should point out the occasional stall issue I described from the outset IS still an issue. The drop in my asking price of £2,500 will EASILY cover the cost of any necessary remedial work as it's either the o2 sensor or the idle control valve that needs replacing. Even if you were to replace both, they would cost nothing like £2,500. If the buyer is worried about this then I will get the fault fixed but at a cost IN ADDITION to the £10,000 the car is going for. Any questions then post up or PM. Cheers, Pete
  14. Easily Mike + fitting + setup etc! Add the new rad, FMIC and all the other mods I had done in 12 months (i.e all are still under a year old!), and you start to realise the spec outways the price easily! If you bought a UK auto then did the same things mine has you would spend way more than £10k. The GT35R is a superb single and works soo well with the autobox due to the boost coming in around 3,000RPM on mine and approaching full before 4,000RPM which is very quick response. Steve L running the PHR Stage 1+ on his manual agrees that the slightest error in changeup and i'd be long gone! Both Steve and Paul Whiffin know this car and know what it's capable of and believe me a nicer stage for a road going auto single would be hard to find. I still remember when £10k wasn't enough for a stock TT!!!!!! Can't believe how times have changed! Cheers for the comments though. Pete
  15. Thanks for the kind words Andrew. Hope you're right as I have a wonderful, patient girlfriend who is desperate for me to move closer to her and allow us to be together more as it's a 3 hour round trip at the moment!! It really is a great car and should make someone really happy as it's mechanically sound and in very good condition for a UK car IMHO. As proven by the support from all who have worked on or driven this car recently, it is a great spec for a price well under what I would hope to get if I could keep it till the summer but needs must!!! Come on peeps, get those offers in and bag a bargain for 2007! :d All the best and a Happy New Year to all Cheers, Pete
  16. With Chirstmas now behind us i'm hoping someone will realise the bargain i'm offering and snap this up (at the least a viewing or serious enquiry would help!! ). If anyone wants any further info or pics of anything let me know. This really is a nice, clean example of a UK model in a great colour and with only the best new parts fitted at great expense. If you take a look around, you'll see at £10k this is a steal for a properly setup single with approx 550/600HP and loads of new parts less than a year old! Come on someone BUY ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the best, Pete
  17. Hi, Any chance of the black plastic trim that goes on the drivers door and makes the door sensor go in and out? It's a pain in the ass on mine and currently is being resolved by bluetack but with the cold it falls off and then the alarm goes hay-wire!!!!!! Not sure on what it's worth as if someone wants the door then I'd imagine they'd have this bit on their smashed door?!?!?! PM or answer on here is great. All the best, Pete
  18. I spoke to Paul Whiffin about this and sourcing the parts you would need sounds like the biggest hurdle. The cost of the conversion itself weren't that unreasonable from memory. Best bet is to drop Paul an e-mail and find out the gory details from him. Cheers, Pete
  19. Nothing solid on the interest front sadly! Did get a couple of p/x offers but can't really afford to go down that line without it being a cheap p/x as I need the money to pay the loan. Did get one possible but although the car was a gr8 spec, he wanted a manual! Did mention you can do a conversion if you can find the donor parts but I guess from the lack of further contact he decided not to go ahead with it. Apart from that nothing! Haven't even had anyone view it yet as even although the pics look good, in the flesh it looks the danglies especially with the bonnet up to show off that shiny engine bay and single tubby! I know the price is too low really and i'm losing out but really do need to sort the bank out and move on. Not my choice but no luck with the lottery and no unknown inherritance due to cover it, needs must! Pete
  20. Needs must guys and if I keep it I KNOW i'll give in to temptation and spend more money on it!!! Need to move nearer to my other half as well as it's killing me having a long distance relationship and with the loan still to pay, I can't afford to move out from my folks and pay the rent etc so could do with the perfect xmas gift about now i.e being able to tell her I can move down that way!! Young love eh! Thanks for the comments guys and yes it's too cheap and yes someone will get an absolute bargain but not if no one shows any interest! All the best, Pete
  21. BUMP!!! Last chance at £10,000 (further £500 off! ) WILL NOT go lower and no room to haggle so let me know if interested. Will be kept till spring/summer if no interest generated this last time. Cheers and all the best, Pete For those new to the thread, that's now £2,500 off the original asking price hence NO OFFERS or HAGGLING.
  22. Not meaning to interfere but Paul has already confirmed the car is running 1.2 bar NOT 1.4 due to standard j-spec tubbies and injectors (440cc jobbies!). Pete
  23. You're probably right mate. If it was me though i'd be looking to buy now as it is wet and horrible so can get a car like mine for less than in the summer and do the few other things to it ready for the summer. It doesn't need anything doing as such but if it was me i'd be doing the FPR and bigger injectors + maybe a full ECU replacement etc to get an amazing spec. If someone buys it for £10.5K then spends say £2/3K on top they would have a really quick superb spec UK Supe. Even by just running it as is, the car flys in contrast to the hybrids I had to start with and with the low mileage engine I had fitted it should be ultra reliable mechanically as well. Why buy a stock TT when you can get a good single setup Supe for a bit more?! The bits alone are worth thousands on mine! This is a really good car and i'm not just saying that as others have vouched for the way this drives and it is a real beast!!
  24. Cheers fella! I can't believe how bad it's got and YES I realise the Cat C superficial damage is possibly putting some peeps off but even the clean/no damage cars at between £6 - £9k aren't shifting!!! :( I can still remember when I was with the forum back in 1999 and Tim was selling the majority of Supes at JIC and you'd have been laughed off the forecort if you asked to buy a TT for less than £12k! Think the n/a versions were going for £7-£8K!! A single converted car was sooo rare and was worth twice the price + what I am looking to recoup! Still not happy to have to sell but on the upside it's bottomed out as far as price so if it doesn't go then i'm stuck with it! Not going to be a solution to my home / moving out issues but guess I'll try crossing that bridge when I come to it! Seems even with LOADS of positive comments from peeps including the main man and ace mechanic/supe guru Paul Whiffin I still can't find a buyer! Happy Christmas! Bah! Humbug - unless someone buys my car that is!!
  25. A free bump back for mine!! This is a steal for the money!! UK spec with the clearly more desirable manual box and in good nick can't understand why the few peeps who rung/pm'd me about mine then pulled out because they wanted a manual aren't swarming around this!?! We need a collector or rich geezer who can't decide what they want to but the pair then they get a TT and a Single with both the manual and the auto boxes!!!! Best of luck with it fella as it looks lovely! Seems to be VERY hard to sell at the moment! Cheers and all the best, Pete
