  1. Sorry guys having issues uploading photos unfortunately. If you can PM me or leave a message here I can try to send photos to you. Many thanks. Pete
  2. Afternoon All, So I’m looking to sell on some bits I’ve accumulated after changing the car from tiptronic to manual and also from twin turbo to big single. Also dug out some bits from when the car was repainted as might help someone out if they need a seal etc. All prices are open to sensible offers and buyer needs to collect from Kent or arrange a courier at extra cost. I can probably post smaller bits at a cost but the larger stuff will need collecting. I can take extra photos if needed but hopefully these give you a good idea. All parts are from a late model TT Tiptronic VVTI model. Everything was working fine when removed so should still be fine. If you want to buy a few bits and collect then we can sort a discount as well. Let me know and it’s first come first served. Bank transfer preferred or cash on collection. Any questions let me know. Photos are shown further down the post. 1. VVTi set of 3 used coilpacks. All were working fine before changing when I went single/GTR coilpacks. reduced to £30obo 2. Set of OEM twin turbo’s including manifold. Blades are a bit bent according to Lee/SRD, but worked fine until removed. Apparently SRD see this quite often. I’d probably rebuild personally so priced accordingly. reduced to £100obo 3. SYVECS S7+ VVTI loom. I had SRD make me a new bespoke engine bay loom so don’t need this anymore. Apparently these are quite pricey new so grab a bargain. £200 4. OEM bonnet stay. £10 5. Titanium bonnet stay. SOLD Harley FDMD 6. Tiptronic shifter with 8-ball style shift knob. reduced to £50obo 7. OEM rear view mirror. reduced to £20 8. OEM door sills (pair in good used condition). PROVISIONALLY SOLD 9. Chrome heater control button covers. New and never fitted. £10 10. OEM inner door handle surrounds. £20 11. Chrome battery stay. New/never fitted again a Rob Mitchell job. reduced to £20 12. OEM power steering reservoir used but complete and replaced with PHR to relocate for single setup. reduced to £20 13. OEM charcoal canister. reduced to £10 14. OEM engine bay battery tray. Relocated battery to boot hence not needed anymore. reduced to £20obo 15. OEM battery stay bar. £10 16. Used door window top outside trims. Fitted new ones when I had the car resprayed but these are fine and in good condition. Reduced to £40obo 17. OEM lower glovebox lid. reduced to £20 18. OEM centre console lid £20 19. OEM engine bay relay cover lids £30 larger one £20 smaller one. 20. Used door seals. Did new seals after the respray but these might help someone out of a bind. reduced to £30obo 21. Facelift used engine mounts. reduced to £20obo Thanks for looking and PM if you need anything. Cheers. Pete
  3. Saw this. Ash is practically salivating! lol. Does look superb though mate. What’s the plan Brad? Are the guys cracking on with the build now? Have you decided on a turbo yet to compliment the new engine as know you were looking to sell your old one.
  4. Nothing crazy. I’d like 1,000whp preferably on V-Power but will see how it goes. Won’t be pushing the capabilities of the block let’s put it that way. Look forward to seeing updates.
  5. Nice! As you spotted on my build thread I’ve paid for my Dart block as well now. Won’t be building mine for a bit, but at least the block is ready when the time comes. Be keen to follow and see your progress mate. Keep the updates coming and look forward to seeing this when it’s all done.
  6. Makes sense mate. I was going to say it’s near enough impossible to be a great drift car and still a road car if that makes sense. Can be one or the other or average at both, but for full drift missile you need to lose some weight and set it up for drifting.
  7. Nice to see a new project build. What gearbox you planning to run? Still wanting a road car or pure drift machine? Best of luck with the build and keep the updates coming.
  8. Hey Guys, Small update from me. Spoke to Lee at SRD last week and he mentioned there was a Dart block available and would I like to buy it ready for my engine build early next year. I had a bit of credit leftover from the single install as we decided the current clutch would cope for now and we will replace it when we do the engine install. I was still short and initially told Lee thanks but no thanks. His concern was we might get to the point where I have the funds for my engine build but there are no Dart blocks available and we’d have to wait. It played on my mind so managed to get the funds I needed in the form of a loan/help from my Folks (thank you Mum & Dad), so I got back in touch with Lee to say let’s do it. Unfortunately that particular block had sold but they can supply one in a month or so which is fine with me. Will be stored safely with the guys at SRD till early next year when the build can hopefully begin. Popped out at lunchtime on Friday as I was WFH to see Matt at MH Bodyworx to catch up and prep him for the engine bay paintwork I’ll need him to do when we do the engine build. He was happy to see the car and will fit me in when needed so that’s one more piece of the puzzle sorted. It’s funny how much you see and notice the tired bits of the bay once the twin turbo bits are removed and the single is installed. Just lets it down a bit so glad that will get sorted as well and we are doing body colour with some smoothing etc and delete work for any holes/bits no longer needed.
  9. This. I’m trying to keep my build thread alive as well, but little to no comments from folks. It’s nice to check back and have a record of the progress regardless, and I do think folks look at my posts but don’t generally respond as Brad mentions. There are a handful of us who do engage on the build threads though and I personally like seeing these coming along so please keep it coming. Best of luck with the paint job, be interesting to see how well a budget DIY type job can come out as it’s more the prep work and labour so should be fine for track duty. Keep us posted.
  10. Morning Brad. Exciting news indeed. I’ll be following this closely as plan to go the Dart build route myself hopefully early next year. Looking forward to seeing how it goes and what you achieve with it mate. Glad you managed to sell your old engine and best of luck with the new one SRD will no doubt build to perfection.
  11. Good luck with the sale. If anyone needs a VVTI manual harness PM me as I have one spare after getting SRD to make me a bespoke engine loom.
  12. Great start Richard. Liked and subscribed mate. Look forward to seeing the updates as you transform this into something special. Clearly going to be a detailed tribute/replica so looking forward to seeing how you get on. I’m sure you can sell any of the bits you’re not going to use by the way, good luck and keep up the great work.
  13. So had my first show/outing in the car yesterday. Thankfully it was dry if a bit too sunny (got burnt! lol). Did mean I could use the full send and get the traction control off wet. Have to say car drove perfectly, good power delivery and the car pulls like a train. Couple of photos from the day.
  14. Hi mate. No, not managed to get it out as yet, but hoping the weather is good for this Sunday as I have the GT Tuners open season event to attend at North Weald. Fingers crossed it stays dry so I can try it on the full 1.6 bar with minimal traction control required. Coming home from SRD I was on 1 bar boost and wet setting for traction control which was safe and still fun when I did floor it.
  15. Morning All, So after an early start (up at 5:30am) I managed to get the car cleaned, ceramic wash and wax and a nice coat of ceramic wax as well. Pleased with how it came out. Also added some extra storage and racking in the garage which I’m pleased with. Just need to sort all the parts that came home I don’t need anymore and try to sell them. As you can see, lots of boxes I could do with shifting!
  16. Hey Guys, So I collected the car from SRD yesterday. Shame the weather was so pants, had to take it easy obviously but still had a couple of gentle pulls and it felt great! Hats off to Lee, Ash, Mike and the rest of the team, love what they’ve done with the car and can’t wait for a bit of dry weather to really see what it’s like with the new setup. Needs a good clean after the drive home so fingers crossed it’s dry in the morning. I’ll grab some photos if I can get it cleaned up.
  17. Said it before, but it’s all the little subtle details that make the difference mate. Nice find and purchase.
  18. Mike finished up on the dyno today. Pops and bangs with a good dose of flames, launch and traction control all setup as well more importantly. Getting closer to getting it back. Road test tomorrow. 4c2cb8d1-5bde-4454-9a5b-6e130cd69460.mp4
  19. Couple of dyno run videos from Mike at SRD. He’s doing a great job mapping this and it sounds epic! Can’t wait to drive it.

  21. Nice. Whats the account name on YouTube? I’ll subscribe as love following these sort of builds.
  22. So numbers are in. Keeping it safe given we are still on stock engine and cams. Lee has confirmed this was at 1.6 bar and pointed out it’s an awesome power band and should feel epic. Exciting times and hopefully I’ll be able to pick it up soon.
