  1. Not long now mate. Always a good sign when the car is ready and primed for paint. Look forward to seeing updates when it gets some colour.
  2. Good to know mate, seemed like a good setup for not silly money. Won’t get to install mine for a bit longer as I have some bits that belong to my Brother left in the studio to clear first. Hoping won’t be too long as would be nice to get it all built and installed. I liked the fact they were grey and went with the stainless worktops as well. Nice to hear from someone who has them though.
  3. Evening Folks, So been another productive day on the garage re-model. Got the framing and cladding all done and dusted. Skip hopefully going on Monday and RDC here on Tuesday to install the new door. Ramp from driveway to garage should be done next weekend as well. All on target to give the Supra a nice home when it returns. Popped to see Matt as well today to drop off my new carbon inner door sills (thanks to Paul/Whifbitz). Hoping the headlights are done soon so I can get it over to SRD for the first bit of work which is new radiator, service and MOT. More updates next week when the new door to the garage is installed. Good weekend all.
  4. Thank you buddy, will be a great home for the Supra when it’s all done, lots still to do, but it’s getting there now. Should have the cladding up tomorrow to seal in above the new steel, then it’s a waiting game till Tuesday when RDC are here to install the new door.
  5. Afternoon All, So chased up Driftworks today on my Works wheels, apparently they are waiting to clear U.K. Customs and that’s likely to be another 3 weeks! Gutted as that’s my hopes of doing Go Japan at Brands out the window. On the garage front, been a hive of activity here today. They’ve bricked up the old single glazed windows so just need to get them rendered at some point. The front has been demolished with the new thicker steel now installed and site made safe until the chippies turn up tomorrow to do the framing and cladding. I also snapped a photo of the studio that needs to be removed inside on the right so I can have a proper double garage to work in. I’ll do some more updates tomorrow.
  6. Will PM you in a second chap. In terms of sizes etc, believe these are 8.5’ up front, 9.5’ at the rear. I’m not running any spacers and I can confirm these comfortably clear my large K-Sport brake setup as seen in the photos. Tyre sizes are 235/40/18 front, 265/30/18 rear. Will PM my address over for you.
  7. Welcome Louis, Nice ride and love the fact you did most of the manual conversion yourself (no easy task!). Car looks great and I’m sure you enjoy the luxury feel only an LS can offer, my old man had one and it was such a smooth ride with plenty of pick up when you needed it. Best of luck with the supercharger, I added a kit from RR-Racing to my ISF and loved it. Was a Rotrex from memory. Needed a lot of work and precision to get it all in the engine bay, but looked great when it was all done. Enjoy! Cheers. Pete
  8. Hey Folks, So no real updates on the car, Matt has been finishing up his bits and we are just waiting on the new wheels (due to land tomorrow hopefully!), and my re-worked headlights from the talented Harry Moore. Hoping both are here and fitted soon so it can venture over to SRD for the first phase of work. Will get the new radiator installed (current one is leaking), a full service and the all important MOT. That way it’s road legal and I can hopefully get it to Go Japan at Brands Hatch at the end of September. It can then go back when Lee/SRD are a bit clearer for the rest of the work I’ve paid for. That includes: new HKS Hypermax suspension and setup, new TRD engine mounts with Whifbitz conversion brackets (early type which are better), gearbox cooler, BPU work, pedals, AFR gauge install and the new steering wheel with paddle shift to replace the tiptronic buttons. In other exciting and related news, the car’s home (my double garage) is getting re-built in the next couple of weeks. Losing the central pillar, thicker steel, single electric 5m garage door from RDC, new concrete ramp from the driveway to the garage for easier access (had rubber ramps before I had to lay out every time I took it out or put it back!). I’ve also treated myself to a whole new workshop setup which arrived today on two pallets. Can’t build them just yet as need to finish clearing out the studio the previous owner installed, then they can go along the entire back wall (5m width so should be perfect). I’ll also get my new floor in grey and black tile early next year to finish it off. Couple of photos for reference, will post some more when it’s done.
  9. If you wanted to arrange a Courier, That’s fine with me mate. I have a couple of pallets here I could use and some bin bags, but I think there are firms that handle wheel transportation out there? You’d need to check and confirm you are happy with the added costs as doubt it’s cheap! Guess it depends on circumstances, for comparison I needed my headlights re-worked by Harry Moore, so I drove them to Manchester and came back the same day! Long drive, but will be worth it when I get them back.
  10. Hi mate, Got one other interested party on the wheels and tyres, but nothing finalised yet. I’m based in Higham, Kent which is near Rochester mate.
  11. I’ll keep that in mind mate. If first chap doesn’t want it will be in touch. Cheers. Pete
  12. No one? I’d take £200 if that helps? Got it advertised through Facebay as well, but getting the usual idiots offering silly money! Be nice to sell to someone normal! Lol.
  13. Thank you mate, just trying to be fair and help some fellow owners out if I can.
  14. Afternoon Folks, Thought I’d see if anyone here is interested in buying my existing tool boxes? I’ve ordered a complete workshop setup, so these are no longer needed. Had them around 10yrs, and apart from a bit of colour fade (you can see the middle section is newer and brighter red than the other two), these are in great shape and work fine. Importantly come with the keys (not lost like most I see!). Got the top box, middle box and lower box which is on wheels. Will clean up well and all stickers are staying on but can be removed easily enough with a heat gun or hairdryer. I would like £250ono for the three, no tools included obviously as I’m keeping those for my new setup. Given size, collection preferred from Kent, but you can also arrange a courier if you so wish (costs on you). PM me if you want the post code and address to check distance etc. Thanks for looking. Pete
  15. Afternoon Folks, Still have a few bits left from my build I don’t need/won’t be using. Prices don’t include postage which I can look at in addition, or buyers are welcome to collect in person from Kent. If you want to arrange your own courier, be my guest as I’m working from home at the moment so around if needed to hand bits over. Photos available if needed, just ask. Bank transfer preferred, will PM details. 1. New Titanium Bonnet Stay - nice bit of engine bay bling, these retail for £100 so hoping for £40, I’ll take sensible offers as well if anyone is interested. 2. Used rear crash bar - has some surface rust but should clean up and would look nice with a respray. I know a lot of these rot out badly, so may help someone out. Given the weight, prefer collection or you can sort courier. It’s all wrapped and ready to go, would take £30 for it. 3. OEM bonnet stay - been cleaning out my garage and found the stock bonnet stay, it’s in good shape and may be of use for someone? I’ll take £20 for it. 4. New lower bumper retainer - Got SRD to order me this as mine was missing, but don’t need it now I have the TwinZ rear diffuser fitted. It’s still in the box. I’d like £20 for it. NOW SOLD. 5. Garage Whifbitz Carbon Windscreen Scuttle Panel - I ended up getting a new OEM panel and don’t think I have the time or patience to fettle with this to make it fit. Does look the part, and with some patience and fettling would look really good. My loss is someone’s gain as these are £300 new. I’d take £180 for it and again due to size, shape needs collection really as it will get damaged otherwise. NOW SOLD. Hoping my new wheels will also be arriving in a week or so, in which case my current Rota’s and good tyres that are mint having been refinished recently in dark copper will be for sale. I’m hoping for £700, but will listen to sensible offers. These clear U.K. and K-Sport brakes and are mint. If you want a different colour, that’s easily done as well.
  16. Good to hear Mark, mine isn’t ready just yet, but as soon as it is I plan to attend these. I’ll keep an eye on here and keep you posted mate.
  17. Yes mate, although I was also told Japanese and American together was an odd mix! Still planning to do it for my garage as I love the States and all my friends over the pond, but I also love my Japanese cars so it makes sense to me! Looks good buddy. I approve and will be following your lead!
  18. Totally agree. I ordered mine back in February and still not got them. Hoping they land next week, but will see. It’s certainly been a long time, but I’m sure it will be worth it when they do finally get here.
  19. Nice! I also ordered these, but with copper barrels, grey centres and black bolts. It’s been 8 or so months since I placed my order, but hoping they get to me next week. Where did you order yours mate? Hope you don’t mind waiting, as they seem to take a really long time to make and get here from Japan. I think they are worth the wait, but I’ll be glad to see them as not cheap! Should look amazing on your car. Congrats!
  20. Nice work mate. Where is the car in these photos? Jealous if it’s your garage as you have a proper lift! Lol. What’s with the American flag? Shouldn’t the stars be top left…… I have some American license plates and a flag to put up myself when the time comes. Look forward to seeing further updates once the metalwork is done.
  21. Looking amazing mate, that’s got to be one of the cleanest stock looking white Supra’s around, you’ve done a great job cleaning it up. Nice one.
  22. Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Luke, I bought the carbon engine bay covers and they arrived today. Pleasure to deal with and would happily buy from again and recommend to others. Thanks again Luke.
  23. Impressive! That seat delivery time is seriously good. Who’d you use out of interest? I’m happy with my Recaro’s, but think it’s good to share when someone does a good job and that’s really fast! They do look the part, bet you can’t wait to get them in, did the subframes arrive at the same time?
