there about £170-190 from toyota..... i have one in my private collection think somone on the forum made a tool and used to rent it out to members -
bit of a strange one that, i would poss take the acc belt off and see if the noise goes

you need the proper tool buddy -
book price from a dealer is like £1000 but you no as well as all of us there worth much more i think book price on a escort cosworth is like £1400 you try find one for less then 8k

i think you can unpick the wiring out of the connector and swap it with the old one obv putting the wires back in the same order lol

bc coilovers..hours wise god knows id estimate 7ish? i wasnt keeping track lol no advise but you need to be armed with tool and lots of them!!! inc proper size blow lamp, an air hammer/chisel, grinder with slitting disc and i would advise ALL new bolts which come to a fair few quid on top

i have just fitted a full kit on mine with a geo today.... feels 10 times better then the car did before.... the bushes are a bugger to fit though

well its on its wheels.. getting the suspension and geo done tommrow hopefully so at least i can drive it

i would chuck in a new set of plugs and go from there... i have seen lots of 2jz's that wont start after sitting for a while... new plugs and they started straight up

out of interest how have you got to the conclusion? have you cracked the fuel line off then turned ignition on to see if fuel pumps out? has the car got a after market immobilizer? carry out check wire to see if there are any codes etc
