?? you must have a rare case then!! when the abs pump goes the abs/vsc/traction light all come on. you get a buzzing noise from the pump itself! the abs and tractions systems dont work! my current mk2 gs300 thats my everyday car has a pedal pulse and its the REAR discs http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=23114 (hope its ok to link to another site?) thats what happens when the pump goes

doubt it..... all the lights etc would come up if that was at fault. ide say 90% rear discs warped

indeed that would be like putting a camery estate back on a supra! hmm theres a thought... just thought the avensis was weird. ive worked on toyota's for 8 years and never seen anything like that before!
