could be the dimmer switch at fault?

i paid £1900 for mine but has no 5th gear and had no mot, lowerd,exhaust,decat,DV,and a few other bits.

i agree IF i brought the car id fit facelift front and rear lights and refit a interior back in it. remove the quailty stickers and do something with the spoiler
