  1. ahh cool..... can this TTC mode still be done even though one vsv has been removed and a EBC fitted? although i have had TT's and worked on loads never done or seen the TTC mod
  2. what do you means hold pressure? like it boosts to 1.0bar and stays there? i have just fitted a boost controller to which i am yet to set up so have low boost at the moment
  3. evening all i have a late 2nd turbo issue on my uk spec,i have looked at this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?35926-The-sequential-system&highlight=boost+problem and it appears i have a problem with the EGBV? so far to try and diag this i have swapped the VSV which made no difference and i have used a airline to 'Boost' the system as such and i can see the actuator moving! so i am at a bit of a dead end of where to look next

  7. after watching the youtube video that CW put up i started looking into torsen diffs and how they work i understand that its not locked and both wheels can turn freely BUT what actually makes it lock up and turn both wheels at the same time?

  9. hilux but i am biased lol for 8k you would get a lovley mk5 (leather etc)or a base model mk6 3 of my friends have navara's and for the money they are well spec'd for a new shape truck i know FA about the vw's

  11. we have a key/safe company in leigh on sea where i live and he can.... we used to send him motorcycle ignitions to make a key! ( imports from spain where keys had been lost )
  12. take the lock out and take to a key cutters, they will remove the broken key and cut you a new one

  14. in the last 2 years i have had over 20 cars and since i started driving in 2002 i have had over 50!
  15. ahh so it still fitted the same way as every other EBC (with the 1st turbo actuator) but they bypass the EGBV vsv? bit strange would of thought every company would of done the same
  16. out of interest why is this one bypassed with the AVCR fitted? i thought most EBC were fitted to turbo no1's vsv/actuator?

    also water pump set up... 147's run a hydro system off the water pump for the radiator cooling fan
  18. sure its not another seal? haven't seen meny 1AD/2AD engines with rear main seal's leaking? ( not to say its not obv)
  19. this is a good question and something i was also looking into...my main reason for changing is my rear top arm bushes have play in them
  20. bump on this.. currantly after -cat back system -lowered billys?
