as some you you might no i brought a cheap TT auto last week, when looking at the car i checked for smocking etc i was happy with no smock,(the car had been driven before i turned up)
i removed the exhaust the other day as needs to be repaired and parked the car in my car park with only 1 cat on it,
went and started it up today(havnt started since friday) and quite a bit of smoke! so conclusion is the valve stem oil seals right??
on another note at the moment all the coil packs are out due to missfiring and ive also removed the camshaft covers to decoke and replase the seals,
i didnt really want to spend loads of time or ££ on this project before i sorted out the running faults,SHOULD i replase the stem seals while ime hear or put it all back together sout out the running then do the stem seals
sorry if this is a bit of a silly post but dont no what to do really?!?
