  1. Hey Keron, how much for second decat and is it 3" Cheers
  2. Okay cool thanks for replying. One more question to anyone who can help. I have also some sort of electrical connector coming of the single turbo but the installation instructions doesn't say a thing about it. Any ideas Cheers
  3. Hello, Just trying to refit my UEGO Sensor with my new single setup and need to ask a little help. Previously I had a decat pipe that ran straight off the manifold and did the job of 1st and 2nd decat in one pipe. So need to by a new second decat pipe, but before I get the bung welded in can some one tell me if it's possible for the sensor to go in the downpipe. I only ask as the is already a spot welded in on the down pipe with a blocking screw in. It's just past the O2 sensor so about 6 inches from the turbo. The AEM instructions say 18 or 36 inches from the exhaust port but then states for turbo vehicle to be after turbo but before the cats. Any ideas Cheers
  4. Thanks Chris, have sent you an email for the price.
  5. Will check that out need the gaskets myself
  6. Sorry to high jack this a little but do you have the part number for the nuts. I'm just installing new studs myself on the turbo side as installing a single setup. Had a couple which were sized to the nut but whole thing came out all okay. I just ordered 4 x studs to replace the seized ones from whifbitz as they had them in single quantities. Think they were around £5 each if you are only needing a few just in case.
  7. Hello, Need to clarify a couple of things if anyone can help. I am in the middle of fitting a Greddy T88 34D turbo that I bought from Keron. Things are going quite well, stock turbos removed with only a little bit of swearing and most parts ready to be fitted. Just waiting for a few new studs to arrive etc. However could someone help me out with the following. On the intake pipe going into the turbo from the filter there is three outlets. 8/12/19mm. From the instructions I am thinking the following. 8mm - Instructions has this going to canister line. Can some confirm which one this is. (Does this mean charcoal canister?) 12mm - Goes to breather on turbo side of cam cover 19mm - Goes to ISCV pipe, which originally was connected to top of turbo 2 Wastegate - Side port connects to Surge tank - Can someone confirm which line this is please. Top connects to boost controller IN port. Where do I then connect the out port of the BC too. Also im using a AEM V2, do I still need the boost controller and if not where would the top line go. Lastly - What have people done with the now redundant air lines which used to come up from the pressure tank? Sorry for all the questions and these may seem simple to some, but I just want to get this right. Huge thanks in advance to any help and suggestions.
  8. Hello mate, do the injectors come with all the looms as per the whifbitz site. I take it the fuel rail is the one as per the whifbitz kit? Cheers
  9. Hello, Anyone know where to get new gaskets from for a Greddy T88 34D turbo. I need the in and out for the turbo plus the wastegate. I have found some in the states but the shipping is really high? Anyone know anywhere in the UK. Cheers
  10. To be honest I just like the look of them and thought whilst I had the car on jacks I might as well freshen up some of the parts, but I hear what your saying.
  11. Looking at buying a Mishimoto radiator but unsure to go for a 2 or 3 row. Will be fitting a greddy T88 single at the same time with the goal of 600hp if that helps. Any advice greatly appreciated Cheers
  12. Have a full decat with HKS priest exhaust, and the car is a manual. It was originally a NA which had a UKTT put in it so its a W58 box. I have an RPS clutch (street something or other if I remember correctly). Could you recommend some injectors. Would I get away with drop in ones, or should I go for a fuel rail? Thanks for the reply
  13. Also what sort of power should I get from the turbo on a stock bpu setup with the AEM ecu. Parts already fitted. HKS FMIC Bosch 040 fuel pump Blitz dual boost controller And if my goal is a safe 550-600hp what should I be looking to upgrade. My first thougt would be injectors but again all suggestions welcomed, going single is new to me. Only knowledge I have is from what I have read over the years on here and there are a lot of different opinions. Cheers
  14. Hello, Bit the bullet and bought a Greddy T88 complete kit from Keron. I also went for the AEM v2 ecu that he had. I have a couple of questions. Is it worth fitting the ecu before I fit the single turbo. I only ask as I'm not going to get time to fit the turbo for a month or so and wondered if I would get any gains for now on my uktt bpu. I take it I would need to get it mapped, and would it need remapping once the turbo is fitted. Is there a basic map that can be loaded I.e by myself for now? Any recommendations on mappers around the SW London and outer SW M25/Surrey and Hampshire Any suggestions are welcomed and any help much appreciated.
  15. What sort of power do these produce, and on top of this cost, what extra would be needed in terms of parts/labour. I have a uktt bpu. Thinking I need to upgrade to single but gauging cost. Cheers
  16. Hello, just been reading through after threads on why not to run a bov on a uk spec car. This is something I didn't know about previously as I have been running mine for about a year now with none of the stalling problems and afr readings seem okay. I only have the bov as it came welded on the inlet pipe going to the throttle body when I went bpu. It was part of a pipe kit for the fmic I bought on here. However I would prefer not to go against most advice but need to know a couple of things before I blank the hole and refit the factory valve. If I bought the HKS EIDC do you also need to fit the re-circulating valve? In normal circumstances is the HKS SSQV worth having on a bpu car. Any thoughts/help much appreciated.
  17. Hello mate, is there any holes/cracks in the back box, or any work needed. Cheers
  18. any idea on the make of radiator, could you pm a picture at all cheers
  19. Hello, do you have the heater controls and if so are the in good working condition. Cheers
  20. Thanks Chris that makes sense, stupidly that didn't even cross my mind as after removing the old gators there were no collars attached. I guess the bonding had just given up after 21 years. Cheers again to both of you for the assistance. Now just to fit all back on the car. Cheers
  21. I'm one step away from finishing a rear calliper refurb but I'm stuck getting the slider pin dust gators to fit. They seem to have a metal fitting on the end that sits into the slider bore, however the diameter of the metal piece seems just to big to fit in. Any ideas? Cheers
  22. Thanks DnK, any advice on cleaning the whole unit. Should I flush any grit/sand out with water first (drying immediately after). Any work on the piston bore recommended. Cheers
  23. Both your answers help so thank you. I was originally meaning the flat bit as you look into the bore where the piston was. But the help with the slider pin bore in terms of cleaning is also a great help. Thanks again
  24. Hello, Bit of advice needed. My jspec rears having been causing issues and decided to take them off for a refurb. I knew one was seized but got it out with some force. I was planning on replacing everything with new CW parts as pistons were a little corroded and they are 21 years old so gives me a project. Just wanted to ask some opinions. When i look into the chamber of the caliper its all very smoth and polished on the sides but at the bottom it looks and feels quite coarse. Is that normal, or has something worn away. Just dont want to spend money on new parts if I might as well look at replacing the whole thing. Also any ideas on best way to clean the chambers that the sliders go into. They were extremely hard to remove. Any comments much appreciated.
