  1. Ecu was mapped with injectors so. Breakdown guy checked the current and there was no current going to the plugs. It's like the ecu isn't sending a signal, or immobiliser is somehow stopping it
  2. Turning fine and fuel pump is now working. I fixed one issue then another pops up straight away. Not sure how to disconnect the immobiliser to problem shoot that
  3. Yeah had it all done yesterday. Brake down guy was as helpful as he could be, but said technically he shouldn't touch it as it was modified. Also said they would not recover it as it was to low, so costing me £50 to get it privately moved 2 miles in the morning. Guy checked and the car had no spark. Check ECU and can't see anything pulled out disconnected. Any help welcome,
  4. Well my day just went down hill. Finally got the car back after having a new fuel system to go with the single turbo I fitted and the thing won't start and I'm stuck at the supermarket. Spoke to the mechanic who did the work and he suggested a few tests. 1 - unplug fuel pump and connect 12v source to see if pump is broken. Pump runs fine. 2 - check fuel pump ecu by doing the temporary 12v mod. Did this and now the fuel pump runs when key is in the on position and clicked immobiliser as normal However car won't fire. Turns over fine. The fuel pump is constantly running, would that flood the engine? Any ideas would be great. Fuel system is top feed rail with 1000 asnu injectors and fpr. AemV2 ecu if that makes a difference. Not the best way to be spending my birthday. So cheers for any advice.
  5. Have a load of stuff from going single. The car was a UK spec manual non vvti. The only exception is the charcoal canister which was from an n/a. Price are open to offers but could do with some help on pricing with a couple of bits. If you think its way under, or over please say. All prices plus postage, or if around the SW London and up to 50 miles away could work out drop off on larger items for the cost of fuel. Thanks for looking. Chris Wilson FCD - Only car for only a few months, removed as running AEM ECU. - £35 sold OEM Radiator - Well used but was not leaking when removed, few bent fins and could do with a clean - Offers Charcoal Canister - £10 All turbo VSV's - £15 each UK airbox with HKS panel filter - £50 MAF sensor - No idea so offers welcome 1st and 2nd Decat in one. Also has port for wideband AFR sensor along with port for downstream 02 sensor. Bolts straight onto manifold. No holes dents - £120 Turbo heat shield - £10 UK twin turbos. Look in good condition with fins intact. They seem like there is no play but i have never seen another set in person to gauge this so very welcome to check them out first. Were working fine when removed. All oil pipes etc would come with them and would add the turbo pipe work for an extra £30 - £300 on their own. - Prov Sold Turbo pipework with whifbits silicone turbo link pipes in good condition. Offers around £40 if not sold with turbos. Boost pipework from turbo side in white - £10 UK ECU £75 Chrome relay cover £10 Fuel rail with 550cc injectors and resistor pack - £150 Random items in last few pictures. Think they are fuel related but make an offer for anything you see.
  6. You can give around 3k tax free per year without investigation. I would transfer that sort of amount at least to a family member. you can also transfer smaller amounts £300/400 etc for things like day care for your farther. I.e you theoretically look after him for the day.
  7. Cheers for the advice, just looking forward to getting it setup property.
  8. Yeah I do have a wideband afr fitted. What readings should I look for?
  9. Cheers for advice, will get on the blower tomorrow to get it booked in. Would you think I'm alright driving it if I take it easy. Need to get it I the mappers.
  10. Seems to make 0.1/.2 boost up to 4K. Didn't plan on driving hard until mapped but also wanted to make sure is was in good working order when it went to mappers to save time.
  11. Hello, Bit of help/advice. Just fitted and plumbed in my single setup but not sure when the boost should come in. Took it for a quick test roundt He block but didn't really get over 4K revs. Being a little careful as I've just fitted it. I have not yet fitted the injectors or ecu as this will be done when it goes for mapping in the next month. The turbo is a Greddy t88 and I have a blitz dsbc and could do with some advice on what settings it should be on. Or should I just remove this for now. Cheers in advice for any replies
  12. Maybe worth a look at the weekend. If there was a good way to adapt it might be worth a try.
  13. Would the standard expansion pipe fit on a normal rad cap fitting? Just a thought if you could use that it would solve the cap and pipe issue.
  14. Will ask the question. If i had a spare OEM rad cap would that solve the issue for the pressure?
  15. Had a little search on here but couldn't see anything about the expansion tanks on ebay. Has anybody bought one and whats the opinion. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RAW-Aluminum-Radiator-Overflow-Header-Tank-FIT-Supra-Twin-Turbo-2JZ-2JZGTE-/152141669605?hash=item236c59a4e5:g:BgcAAOSwT5tWMs-O CHeers
  16. Well, I guess that's why I'm a member on here, people's knowledge and help is what's makes it worth it. It was the crank sensor not plugged in. Simplest of things sometimes. Hole hearted thank you to all, I now officially have gone single and have a massive smile on my face. If any of you who replied are at the ace cafe meet I owe you a beer. Now to get the new rail injectors and ecu fitted. Going to leave that one to the professionals. One other question you might be able to help with, I have rigged up the wastegate as per figure 1 in the picture and the other vacuum lines as per the fitting instructions. Can anyone see if there would be any issues with this. Cheers
  17. Would it still turn if I had, will maybe run out and check shortly
  18. No not been anywhere near it. That's what I can't work out nothing to do the fuel system has been touched
  19. Ecu is still standard not changed just yet as injectors and fuel rail is being done altogether in two weeks, so can't think why that would have a problem.
  20. All good cheers if not a little frustrated with this turbo. Car is a na converted to UKTT manual and the new turbo is Greddy T88 34D
  21. Need some help. Just finished installing my single turbo and trying to start it for the first time. Start motor is turning all okay and when I release the key I can hear the turbo spinning but just won't fire. All air lines are connected and not touched the fuel system as new injectors and ecu will be getting fitted in next two weeks. The 2nd decat is not connected as yet, but not sure that would effect it. Only thing I can think of is the MAF sensor is faulty, it did take a bit of a knock whilst trying to adapt intake pipe to fit. Any suggestions really appreciated as feeling a little gutted after I have really taken my time with this. Cheers
