  1. Hello, Anyone have a rough guide on what the wear limits of the Jspec discs should be. Cheers
  2. Hello, Just tying to sort the car out before I go to SPA. Is it beneficial to give the IC pipes a clean. Theres a little oil in there but nothing major. If so whats the best stuff to use. Will a normal degreaser be ok? Cheers for any help
  3. Hello, Im sure this has been asked, but anyone know whats happened to the MKIV.COM website. I trying to look at a couple of articles that used on there to help fit a few bits to the car. Or would anyone have the fitting article for the Blitz Dual SBC boost controller Type R downloaded. (not the instructions from Blitz but the one with pictures that a member put together). Also does anyone know where a good place to get a replacement 90degree hose for the inlet manifold. I would like to get a hard pipe for this, or a decent silcon one. Mines ageing a bit and looks on its way out. Im off to SPA next month so just trying to make sure nothing fails on me. Cheers

    Fuel Pump

Thanks for the reply's, just bought a Bosch 040 from another member. My original car was a JSPEC N/A but had a UK TT put in it. Pretty sure the pump didnt get changed. In regards to the fuel lines, how easy are they to change if they are looking bad. Cheers

    Fuel Pump

Hello, Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the JSPEC/UKSPEC fuel pumps. Maybe buying an upgrade so just checking that i dont need anything model specific. Cheers
  6. Just seen all these replies. In answer to the earlier question, I have a set a standard JSPEC brakes. The reason I have been asking about the evo ones is a friend has two sets sitting about from a project car he has fitted bigger brakes too. We were just talking about how I needed to upgrade, but he didn't know if they would fit straight on.
  7. cheers for the replies, I will look into the adapters.
  8. Hello, Would anyone know if the Brembo 4 pot calipers off a Evo 5 fit straight onto a Jspec supra. Thanks in advance for any replies.
  9. Hello, Just bought a hose kit from boost junkies. Does anyone have a diagram of pipes that are not fuel/oll. Cheers
  10. Anyone had any dealings with Corby Motorsport. Looking at a coilovers setup on their website. They are the cheapest so just wanted to get opinions. Also looking at Titan Motorsport. But not sure how long or what the charges are with them being in the states. Cheers
  11. Thanks for replying. Just looking at the Tein website and it seems that they dont stock that any more for the Supra. When I spoke to Tein they said the Street advance would be the replacement. Any ideas on that model?
  12. Hello, Just needing at opinion. I currently have a set of Tein basic coilovers with dampening adjustment, but upon inspection last week one of the springs has snapped. I could just replace the spring but Tein cant get that model in until August. They came on the car when it was imported and the guy at Tein thijnks there about 12 years old, and recommended that im probably due a new set. I'm not bothered on brand but im looking at either BC BR coilovers Type RS, or Tein street flex. Any good/bad points to these, any if anyone has a set that are not to used and are looking to sell, im interested.
  13. Hello, Anyone got any ideas on how to remove paint from dash panels. I have changed the colour twice but have decided to get it flocked. So need it back to the plastic and struggling. Help please
  14. Trying to power my blitz boost controller. Tried the empty spot in the fuse box by the clutch but my connector must be wrong. Then hooked into my speedo converter but that's a constant source unit stays on. Heard the cig lighter is a good one but can anyone tell me which colour wire is the 12v. Don't have my multimeter here. Other suggestions welcome Cheers
  15. Hello, could someone please explain the adjust points on a FCD. Cheers
  16. That does look good. Can you recommend a good place to get that done. Im not happy with the place that did mine.
  17. Does anyone know the best way to fill the holes on veil side overfenders? I am beginning to dislike the look of them on my car. Is it a case of filling them, or does anyone know of something you can pop in. Cheers for any help in advance

    Decat

Hello, Quick question on decats. If I am looking to loose the 2nd cat, I obviously need the decat pipe. What I am unsure of is the diameter of pipe I need. My Exhaust system is an HKS Priest, and I believe it to be a 3" cat back. However when looking around, all decat pipes seem to be 2.5" diameter. Would this fit, and after would I just need to buy an FCD. Cheers for any help given.
  21. Im just being a bit cautious as my current ones a so soft, and are in a bit of a state. So would rather spend a little more if I know they will last.
  22. Any idea what they are made of?
  23. Hello, Just trying to get a new set of wheel nuts and have not got a clue. I have a set of BBS wheels with what I think is a 60 degree seat. I have a few track days booked, so would like to get the wheels on/off fairly quicely without rounding the nuts. Have been recommended some BuddyClub forged steel ones which work out about £100 for the set, but there seems to be loads of choice for quite alot less. All advice welcome. Cheers:help:
