  1. Yeah also interested in uk rears to match fronts, my j specs have had it.
  2. Hello, Im sure this has been asked plenty of times but its good to get the most up to date opinions. Im looking at getting the car resprayed. I would like to get any any rust spots removed and the drill holes from any previous body kits filled. Firstly can anyone recommend somewhere between NW - South London or Surrey area, and any ideas on rough cost. Its white and would like to keep it the same colour. Cheers for any help in advance.
  3. Sorry to ask again but do you know where it came from originally. Cheers
  4. Just checking but I take it this is a replica, and if yes do you know where it came from. also how is it fixed on. Cheers - - - Updated - - - Just checking but I take it this is a replica, and if yes do you know where it came from. also how is it fixed on. Cheers

    FCD issue

Got the dial set on 9 as directed. The unit is wired as per the MKIV.COM installation guide and I also crossed checked with a couple of guides on here. It must be getting power as it changes something in the ECU in order to make it cut at 0.8. I have tried to earth it to the chassis just to see if that makes a difference. Chris - Are you still making your FCD's?

    FCD issue

bought an hks FCD ages ago and when fitted I was getting fuel cut when the second turbo came in. Due to time constraints I reconnected the normal ecu. Now I have all the bpu parts fitted and working with the car in ttc I thought I would look into getting the FCD working properly so I could raise the boost to 1.2 ish. I've checked and re checked the wiring and I'm still getting cut when the boost goes over 0.8. Also the car cuts out completely and I gave to restart it. Any ideas.
  7. thanks Nic, will see if I can get one from the states.
  8. Thanks for that but those all look like the one that goes after the CAT. Im after the one just under the turbo heat shield before the first cat. I checked the other part number 89465-19595 on this link and that looks to be the front one. Can someone confirm these part numbers are correct. Also im looking for a genuine one if possible. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/archive/index.php/t-231028.html Cheers
  9. Hello, Trying to buy a new front 02 sensor for a UKTT. I have found the part number as 89465-19605 but toyota have said that these are discontinued. I take it the Jspec one is not compatible. Anyone know where to get one. I tried Keron and his toyota dealer has said the same. Any ideas. Cheers
  10. Part of reason for the trip was to get a photo on that road with car so really appreciate the comments. Would love to put it in for the calendar, will keep an eye out for it. The lenses on the lights are standard no covers/sprays. Will put some more pics of the lights up soon, need to get under the car to sort the reverse light wire.
  11. Yep that's it. The mountain is Glen Etiv and its on the way to Fort William. It was used in that nice panning shot of the DB5. Had always fancied a drive up that way. Unfortunately the road was not as clear as it was in the film for some strange reason.
  12. Just thought I would share a quick picture of my trip last week from London to Aviemore. Went the scenic route. Pretty pleased considering its 21 years old. Didn't miss a beat and the electrics even held after my building a test set of toxic style rear lights. AC did pack up but luckily Scotland was still quite mild last week. Never seen that much snow still there at this time of year. . Can you guess the location in the picture and film it was used in.
  13. Just before i take to my garage, any comments on where the most common leaks come from. Cheers
  14. Yeah no cool air and no increase in revs. Last time it was gassed (last summer) they leaked checked it with the machine and nothing showed up. How often is everyone having to have theirs gassed?
  15. Just need a little advice. The air con has been temperamental over the last 4 years or so. When I got the car 10 years ago the air con was excellent and didn't need re-gassing for about 5 years. Then I have had it done three times in last 5 years and its gone again. I did have a strange noise coming from around that area for a short while which has dispersed and now when I hit the AC button I don't get the usual increase in revs. I guess what I trying to find is whether the increase in revs is common across all MKIV's as this would suggest to me the pump is gone, unless anyone else has any other ideas? All help much appreciated.
  16. Will check that also. Whilst I think about it. I relocated the expansion tank between the fmic and the radiator. Would having it below the radiator cap cause any issue with drawing the fluid?
  17. I hear what you saying and agree fully. Just wanted to see if anyone had found the same issue and it was something more complex. But yeah should be the first place to check. Will order one up tomorrow from Toyota. Cheers to you both for your help
  18. EBay I think. Could That cause the air issue. I replaced the old one as it was leaking fluid but never had this issue
  19. Yeah it's a new one. It's full of fluid when the car is running it's after the car has been turned off. Is like it's trying to suck air out.
  20. Having a few issues with the top rad hose. Last few times I have been out in the car the hose has had all the air sucked out of it. After opening the radiator cap it goes back to its normal shape. There does not seem to be any overheating and the car drives fine. Cant see any fluid leaking. Would this just be a major airlock somewhere or something more serious. Any ideas/solutions would be much appreciated. Cheers
  21. Hello, Need a little help with a project I am thinking of starting. I have toying with the idea of the LED rear lights as I am trying to add small updates to the car. I have been speaking with Heckler about getting some PCB's made for me to fit myself, and will probably end up going down that route. Right now though I have a spare set of rear lights which I have taken apart and I also have a couple of LED cob rings. Looking on line I do like the look of those toxic tail lights and thought might as well have a go. The question I have is about fitting a smaller ring inside a larger one using one of the middle two lights on each side to use as a brake light. SO - - Which of the two wires (Green or green/white) is the signal from the brake pedal, and if I connected that one to the inner ring and the other wire to the outer, could I then wire them both to the black/white ground wire that's in the bulb holder. I guess the green wires are 12v but could someone confirm. Many thanks for any assistance that can be given, would love to have something to do this weekend other than the garden. Cheers
  22. thanks for all the replies - - - Updated - - - Thanks for the offer but they are pre face lift.
