wat are everyones thoughts on the oringial toyota supra spolier, as i think that wud look good with the veilside kit, but cant seem to find any pics of any cas with that set up can anhy 1 help plz cheers
-
good idea, can i pick them up from maplis yea
-
hahaha i think i will get another spoiler maybe at another point but ill go spoilerless for a while and see how that goes, though going to go out and ge trid of those screws and the like lol wish me luck
-
im really thinkin gof taking it off now and the rear view is a big difference with and without spoiler too, how easy wud it be to get the holed filled up, will i have to get the whole back bit resprayed or be ok just getting them to use tocuh up paint etc does look a lot classier without it and i think it'd look better for when i start my graduate job next month, how much does a veisilder spoiler go for these days if i sold it lol tell me more than a picnic table at least hehe
-
they seem to screw from underneath, do i get to this from the boot by taking a few of panels off, is loctite glue which will keep the spoiler fixed to it for good, this would be a good idea i think as the bass does give a good thump

Hey guys Noticed the weirdest thing today, came back from a drive and the rear veilside spoiler was literall hanging off away from the car, only the last half of it was keeping it on the car. Obviously this wasnt safe so i decided to take if off which was with relatively easy, im just wondering what caused it to loosen to the point of a safety hazard even/ I have recently isntalled 2 type r's, my spoiler was a tad loose when i first got, is it possible that all the bass has somehow caused the screws to slowly over time loosen and hence cause the slighlty loose spoiler to become one that was struggling to stay on. ANyway now the spoiler is off, the spoilerless look has sort of taken my interest. Looks very classy anyway can any garage refit the spoiler or shud i take it to a specialist, anywhere recommended in glasgow area. cheers

this was what i was considering before the soop, until i saw the cost of the kit, and then installation on top of it would have been crazy money tho it does look awesome

ok guys what a pain in the ass this has turned out to be, nothing wrong with dangerous brains side of things, dont worry right well when i got the unit, the wiring at the back, well the power wire was completely messed up and loose, hence it wouldnt power up, took it to the audio shop and the only solution was to order a new headunit lead from alpine for £30. Anway got that and my friend who does systems and myself, got everything sorted, and put it in the car and it powered up, i was very happy. However this is the worst bit. When it came to playing cd's, wherther they were original ones, or copies, all normal cd.s even a new nav dvd i have, none of them worked. just says error. Im really annoyed. Also the remote turn on for the amps, it doesnt turn the amps on, my friend tested this, by testing the ground and power which were fine, it was jus tthe remote turn on, so that doesnt work either. Only thing that does work is the flipping radio. Now the guy when ia sked about the headunit problem said he'd send me a cheque for £30, however i still havnt recieved this. IBeen waiting since last Monday. think he is tyring to buy time before the 60day period ebay have to make a complaint. ANy advice on what i can do guys, this unit has cost me a bomb now, really wish i bought something proper now im ogin to phone the guy tom but i think im going ot have to go thru the whole claims process, and as it was bouight by cash dont think id be covered for much. ANy advice appreciated guys

Great set up, both com with oringinal remotes and instructions. Headunit comes in orignal box also. Only used in car for around 6 months. the headunit is dvd/cd/vcd/jpeg/mp3/wma/cd-r/cd-rw etc, the face is detachable. 1 DIn size, 4 * 50w power amplifier output, etc, supports DTS the screen looks very funky and dislays whatever the headunti is playing, so if its playing a DVD it will show, and if its displaying mp3's, it will show the track list on the tv screen as well.. it works with dvd mp3's which is a good feature the screen also has two channels, so u can even hook up a rveersing camera as well if u wanted too on top of the connection to the dvd etc fulls et up cost him just around 350, looking for offers above 150 thru pm, looking to sell soonish so get in touch pics below: sorry about the big pics comes with the right wiring to fit straight into the supra

Hi guys, need some advice on what reg plate type to go for for the front end of my supra. Right now theres no front no. plate at all so there no holes or anything to mount the current plate i have whcih ust sits on the dash right now What are all the options available which are relatively easy to do, and still look good ive not been stopped yet but had some interesting glances so i know its a matter of time, i have rob wilsons old car in case ur wondering which one it is does anyone know anywhere that sell mounting kits for it, not a clue what size plate to go for or keep the standard one, or go for a sticky plate anyway i hope u guys can help, and point out the options look forward to the replies

anyone know anywhere near glasgow that i could take my supra to, so they can have a look at my lambo doors. Like when i lift it on the drivers side, it sort of falls back in onto the car , if you know what i mean, not sure if it needs regassing, thats if there is gas involved, not really clued up on it lol, any advice wud be appreciated and or maybe explnantion of whats going wrong with it cheers zabe
