  1. A lot of company cars have telematics fitted already
  2. Makes a lot of sense to me. I'm all for lower insurance premiums.
  3. Difficult one mate... not sure what to suggest. If you really want this particular car then it might be worth a punt. It does sound like a really good deal.
  4. That seems very cheap mate. Franchised dealer price is £12,900! An independent dealer should be selling for £12,420, private sale in good condition £11,460 and in poor condition £8,885. The part exchange value is £9,900 so I doubt they'll sell it to you for a £100 profit... but give it a go
  5. Go in at £9.5k and try to meet them at £10k... never give your final budget away straight away. Although if you tell me more about the car I can tell you exactly how much it's worth. I'll need mileage, spec, options, everything you can get.
  6. You won't improve much on the stock suspension mate.
  7. Call me old fashioned but I tend to use my common sense.
  8. Three threads merged and all videos embedded correctly.
  9. Really? I'd say they're more of a base-level sports car than the Supra. If my racing doesn't go well in 2012 I'm seriously thinking about buying one. Thought I'd get another Supra but I'm not so sure now.
  10. It's nothing like a Supra, and was never meant to be
  11. I heard 28 pints there is absolutely fine if you're driving home. Otherwise you're a bit of a lightweight.
  12. Absolutely. I've yet to find one that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb... but then I'm a bit of a car bore I suppose. Might fool the guys down the pub I guess. After 28 pints.
  13. A 599 replica would be a much better idea IMO, although in my eyes a replica is a replica. I couldn't even own a Cobra rep for that reason.
  14. Yep, he probably does mate. You'd be surprised how much information about people is worth to some companies. It's quite shocking!
  15. Unless you took out a loan to pay for the car insurance then I doubt it'll be that. Not sure about credit cards either... it could even be just companies sending out the same letter to thousands of people hoping that some who call in will actually have PPI outstanding. That sort of thing wouldn't surprise me. The type of firms who sort this out for people aren't generally the sort of people you'd want to go down the pub with, if you get my drift. Case in point is our OP in this thread, who got fleeced for £700.
  16. Well you need to check back on your previous loans to see if payment protection insurance was included. If it was and you weren't made aware or didn't understand what it was then you can claim back the amount you paid for the insurance.
  17. Watching Bomber Boys right now. Amazing tele. Should be compulsory viewing in schools.
  18. It's so much better if you stick some decent tunes on and turn the sound off.
