They're not ideal for drifting as it's very hard to catch a slide in most mid-engined cars. I owned an MR2 turbo and it was lively to say the least.

Where did you get it dyno'd mate? It's possible but VERY unlikely it's making that sort of BHP with a cat still in. If it is, the turbos might not last long as your exhaust gas temperatures will be through the roof.

You don't need a boost controller to hit 1.2 bar - just remove both cats. The ring is there to keep the boost down to a given boost pressure. A BC will make it drive loads better but it's not essential... However, with a cat in I'd be concerned about raising boost pressure with a BC as EGTs would go through the roof.

It's basically BPU with some extra bits. It could be water injection, an oil pressure gauge or a new sub. As above, it means nothing. Real world performance figures are how you judge properly quick cars.
