    For my money the Cayman is the best-handling road car you can buy. The only reason Porsche didn't put a turbo engine in there is because it would walk all over the 911. Getting the balance right with a turbo engine wouldn't be too hard, and the mid-engine layout is a huge advantage IMO The best car I drove last year was the Cayman R by an absolute country mile.

    Hey, no-one can tell when this financial dip will end - or even if it will - yet society does have an obligation to clean up its act regardless of the economic climate. I don't think that's in dispute.

    I'd never leave the car standing still and idling. It needs to be driven IMO - the cooling system needs airflow to do its job the best it can. Like Ash is saying though, the only situation where I'd leave it stationary is when de-icing.

    Motorsport ALWAYS comes down to budget in the end mate. That's a fact. Remember, winning is roughly 75% car and 25% driver. Sure, 25% is important, but the car is an absolutely massive factor. If you're dealing with older cars then there will be a huge variation in the quality of base car available, and some people will have access to better parts and/or equipment depending on budget.
