Depends what you value most I suppose. You'll be detracting from the driving experience in the name of aesthetics. -

Porsche has caught a LOT of criticism over moving to EPAS, and spent millions trying to develop a system that still doesn't work as well as an hydraulic setup. What you're suggesting will have a severely detrimental effect on the way your car drives, and I certainly wouldn't dream of buying a Supra with such a modification. -

Now that's a whole different thing. WRC drivers certainly know how to pedal. I don't think rallying is as exciting to watch as a decent circuit race though.

I find F1 absolutely miles more exciting that rallying as a spectator sport. It's next to impossible to effectively televise a rally, but the F1 shows are brilliant.
