  1. I meant your post didn't make any sense... The reason they can't stop businesses from using hosepipes is that it's some people's living. The Government isn't in the business of putting more people out of work.
  2. So how does that relate in any way to the hosepipe ban we have in Cambridgeshire? Oh, and don't bring god into it!
  3. I don't pay tax to the USA. Do you? Because if so:
  4. Is ignorance like a genuine hobby for you or something? I don't see how you can be so against all the 'illegals' you moan about yet at the same time berate the services and decisions of your beloved country. That's all backwards mate. Pick a subject to moan about and stick to it
  5. Yes, you're right. If we didn't have taxation the world would be a much better place wouldn't it? Oh no wait, I mean far worse don't I? Far, FAR worse. So go on then, endulge us: let's see some of this research which shows how a hosepipe ban helps the government tax us all more. Surely using less water means less tax?
  6. I think there are a few people here totally missing the point of a hosepipe ban.
  7. This one: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?265791-Fast-and-Furious-Replica-(Orange-Supra)-Take-2&p=3381592&viewfull=1#post3381592 Bye.
  8. Adam, has the warning you were given yesterday slipped your mind?
  9. Was it travelling at quite a speed? ...could have been Stirling Moth.
  10. Just thought I'd add a totally inappropriate and frankly pointless post into your build thread. That's all.
  11. Your £4k wheels are missing.
  12. Imagine if your mum was your sister.
  13. Mine chucked out clouds of smoke when I let off and at idle when the turbo seals went, but you're right. The oil should be thin (warm). Sounds like a VSS issue to me...
  14. Funnily enough I was actually out on an eco car launch that day!
  15. The G-wiz isn't a car. What a lot of people don't grasp about electric motoring is that it has the capacity to vastly reduce our dependency on fuel through range extension tech, and also has capcity to be significantly more 'green' as more renewable energy sources are introduced. Just because it doesn't work now, that doesn't mean it can't work in the future.
  16. I don't agree with that. Myself and several of my colleagues are absolutely fascinated by new tech in cars. Electric, hydrogen, hybrid and range extenders all give us semis. I think to be a true petrolhead you have to appreciate new tech as well as the old-fashioned stuff.
  17. If he sounds his trumpets I'll fight back with my trouser trumpet. He'll loose.
