  1. Hi ciaran1 - welcome. Could you can the txt spk please? It's frowned upon here
  2. Threads merged as they contained the same content.
  3. As with an AFR gauge, they're a good indicator that something is wrong. The earlier you catch such problems, the more likely you are to fix it without huge bills for new turbos etc.
  4. It definitely serves a purpose. I'd be using it if my car had coolant.
  5. I don't own a Supra anymore. I've had two though, one circa 400bhp and one around 600bhp. My current car doesn't have any driving aids at all - it doesn't even idle without driver input.
  6. No, how hard you need to press the throttle pedal is what you misjudged
  7. Mate, you misjudged the conditions. Nothing to do with a false 'problem' with the traction control.
  8. I can read. If you're on gravel, you don't drive as quickly. Can you not drive?
  9. Why were you driving so fast you broke traction in the path of an on-coming truck?
  10. I had a Whifbitz twin box system on my old single Supra and it was perfect. My car was very low.
  11. Yes. You want it as straight as possible. Any disturbance in gas flow can cause back-pressure which will cause power-loss issues.
  12. More trouble than it's worth IMO. Just buy a decent exhaust to begin with.
  13. I hope you wear a helmet at all times with that setup. If not it's EXTREMELY dangerous.
  14. I'd never scrimp on an ECU. The Syvecs would be my choice if I were doing it again, simply because it has safeguards built it to prevent your engine dying if something goes wrong.
  15. You've used it twice in your title, and me saying txt spk doesn't count because I'm special. How'd you like those plums?

    New supra owner

Welcome Any pictures? What are your plans?
  17. Also, watch out for stone chips. Both of my Go Pro cases have them and I've not even used them on the road, only on my race car. Another tip is to use Rainex on the lense cover so if it rains you still get decent footage

    Puddles!!

Supras are fine in up to 5m of water. The engines aren't though.
