It's also illegal to leave your car running unattended.

Hi all, I'm on the lookout for a very rare car. Fully aware of pricing etc, but I'm trying to find a UK TT6 in factory condition. Minor mods may be OK, but certainly not anything like big bodykits or single turbos. Low miles would be good too. Anyone aware of someone who could be persuaded to part with theirs? Budget not as crucial as finding the right car. Cheers!

I don't get how people who are fans of cars still don't understand you need to shop around for car insurance each year. Pretty much all companies try this trick. Makes we wonder how much cash they've made out of people simply not doing their research The insurance game is changing now though. Telematics boxes are the best way to cut costs.

Wastegates don't chatter and wastegate chatter doesn't exist. The sound you can hear is air moving the 'wrong' way across the turbocharger's blades when you come off the throttle and instantly create vacuum in the intake system. Effectively it's the turbo's blades chopping through the air. Think about it and it makes a lot of sense The noise is directly related to the BOV. If you don't run one, then it'll be louder and sound more like a pigeon. If you have a BOV with a very loose spring it's unlikely to happen much at all. You can also buy adjustable BOVs, which allow you to customise the noise. Its technical name is compressor stall
