  1. I found I had noticeably worse traction running wider tyres at the rear. The switch from 265 to 275 was surprisingly bad for me.
  2. You'll get more power by using the search button
  3. I used to get around 21mpg on my single turbo car.
  4. £6k and I reckon you'll struggle with that.
  5. I had a video filmed with one of these last year. Impressive bit of kit, but you do need to know how to fly them first.
  6. Six-speed manual: 4k revs, dump clutch. If you get wheelspin, lower revs. If you don't, raise revs until you do.
  7. Basically it's all to do with versatility. Turbochargers make an engine more efficient, but at the expense of throttle response as you have to wait for the turbine to get up to speed. A bigger engine will be less efficient in terms of the power it makes, but that power will be available quicker and over more of the rev range.
  8. You'll struggle at that money! A converted car isn't very attractive for a number of reasons, many stated above. That, plus overseas buyers won't even look as they can't register it. I'd have said £6k was at the upper end of its value. Good luck though. I hope you prove me wrong
  9. Wonder where they got that idea
  10. That is a beautiful car. Absolutely stunning. Makes me want another Supra. Again.

    Bat pink shell donkey.
  12. I've merged your threads as there was no reason to create the same one twice, and no reason to bump them immediately.
  13. Not really there have always been lazy members on here. It's the quality of responses putting said members down that has dwindled of late.
  14. You'll need at least £100k in spare capital, an oil rig, five tennis courts and the search button.
  15. You're right. V10s are loads better.
  16. Nice one! Bet you're loving that. When's it booked in for the single conversion?

    supra for sale

£5k max for a car in that state. Needs a LOT of cash spending on it.
  18. I think good luck! They won't be making anywhere near the stated power levels and they won't be as reliable as stock turbos.
  19. Plus if you don't get it fitted by a specialist your insurance company won't recognise it. In fact, remote start alarms are illegal to use in the UK anyway. You can't have your car running with no-one in it.
  20. Erm, one has at least one turbocharger in the way and one doesn't. A decatted NA with a big exhaust is stupidly loud.
  21. Bit lazy not posting the link. - - - Updated - - - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121118867339?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D121118867339%26_rdc%3D1
