  1. Worth noting an NA-T conversion is less desirable than a TT-single conversion if all else is equal.
  2. It's an Americanism to denote the year a car is registered. 'Model year'.
  3. This is the best article you'll read: http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/spy-shots/toyota/new-2019-toyota-supra-coupe-j29-spy-photos-specs-news-prices/
  4. That part is unclear. They could actually sell a Supra, and then a hotter Gazoo version later on... sort of like having an NA and then a TT. Not sure yet though. There are spy shots of the new Supra circulating on the web. We've seen the FT-1 concept, which is the inspiration, but we haven't seen the finished design of the Supra yet. The platform is the same as the BMW one, but the car on top will be quite different.
  5. It's the same platform, but the new Z4 will be a convertible and Supra a coupe. Both brands are keen to have major differences between the two models so expect the Toyota to be its own car.
  6. I have two bits of news to tell you all about this car, and they're both good: First, I believe they're going to build it. Second, the hybrid system is highly likely to feed directly into the 'new Supra'.
  7. You'd be surprised... happens all over the industry. I end up driving some extremely shonky cars.

That's not worrying and a little bit creepy in any way whatsoever.
  10. Welcome I've removed the other thread you created with this video in - you only need to post it once
  11. There are plenty of these stories. It's basically what motorsport is all about. My favourite is the NASCAR team hiding N2O in the rollcage but it's worth looking up the ST205 Celica GT4 WRC's clever restrictor too. Fascinating engineering.
  12. Completely get what you mean, but frankly the mapping of your car is the singlemost important aspect of enjoying a single build. You don't want to worry about the car starting or detonating every time you switch it on. Personally I'd rather go for secondhand mechanical parts than use a sub-par ECU and/or mapper. I know you're saying Syvecs is expensive, but if its oil pressure sensors do their job just once then you've already saved an engine rebuild. Doesn't look expensive at all then!
  13. Travel and find someone who knows Supras well.
  14. There have been so many rumours it's difficult to keep up.
  15. It isn't. It's more of a hint towards future tech that could make it into other cars. This concept is longer, lower and wider than the 86. There is a new Supra coming. No, it's a conventional automatic with a simulated H-gate
  16. This car's been for sale SO many times, yet you don't know what it's worth?!
  17. The parking. The styling. The advert. It's all just incredible. What's a spod?
