The problem is finding stuff that looks good. I've meshed mine and it's done the job quite well but a few stones have ripped through when I've been going silly speeds. Lucky it missed my FMIC and oil cooler. I'd go for the strongest you can find, a stone at 180mph can do some damage

Still, less cars on the roads means more fun for the people left on the roads eh? Well, nope. We'll all have these satnav units installed and once we go over the speed limit we'll get fined again and probably put in prison or hung. I'm going to start saving for an island of my own. Well at least they are using the money they have got wisely.

There are a few but PADI is the most recognised all over the world. I've dived in Turkey, Corsica, Thailand, Dubai and several other places on my PADI license.

I've got the PADI open water license and that allows me to dive pretty much anywhere in the world. After you've got that you can go in any one of several directions, the world is your lobster. Diving is my second favourite thing to do in the whole world, it's fantastically addictive.

For TT - brand new from Toyota in box. Overhauling your engine? Stick this on whilst you do and be sure it's not the next thing to fail. I want £100 plus postage... Mr T wants £150 and ain't getting on no plane. I can get a picture up if required but it's shiny and new and looks just like a water pump

Nope - I can't to be honest. You're only decatting the car at the end of the day, not boosting performance by any great amount. By your reasoning BPU could consist of just a catback exhaust on an TT because the gains are about the same as doing what you suggest on an N/A. It's much harder, and a lot less basic, to get an N/A to make any significant power. You'll at least have to change the manifold etc.

Right that's it, I'm going to ask the mods to change the BPU FAQ page immediately. My car is now DBFB - dirty, black, fast and beautiful. Plucking letters out of thin air doesn't have the same effect, does it?

No, you were right the first time round. BPU is a phrase coined by some guy in the USA to sell a kit for upgrading a TT Supra. The kit came about because of the huge gains achieveable for relatively small outlay, which just isn't the case with an n/a.

Surprisingly you'd need a TT engine first, that would be your "performance" bit, then you'd need to decat, fuel pump, restrictor ring, induc(k)tion kit etc for the "upgrade" bit. What are you left with?

lol - I wonder if that's a reflection on contemporary society? More bothered about MPG than we are about speed and handling. I'm glad I'm not normal in that case I blame the government.
