  1. This. As someone who deals with the car market day-to-day I can promise you Supra values are now on the up, but it will be a slow increase to start with. They're now at the point of being worth hanging onto though. Just be careful with the mods if you want to make some cash.
  2. That's not a choice, that's a sacrifice!
  3. Trying a bit harder to communicate will help you get more help from members.
  4. No need to bump daily. Change the gearbox oil and see if that helps. Could well be the cause.
  5. The boost would drop as the air is more dense. To enable it to make more power you'll need a way to counteract the boost decrease.
  6. Nice car. Don't bother with the turbo timer though. They do more harm than good. Just take the very last part of the drive easy and you won't need to worry about it. They are a fantastic money maker for companies, but utterly pointless - - - Updated - - - Installing a new intercooler won't give you any more power
  7. Outright cornering will be better with lower-profile tyres, but the comfort and confidence of taller sidewalls means very few drivers will notice the performance difference on a spirited drive. Biggers wheels, in 99% of situations, are for looks only.
  8. You won't get a better experience than specifying the tyre sizes the car was set up for. Make sure the geometry is right though.
  9. That is a fantastic looking car. Nicely done
  10. It is if it's locked down while on the road. I had it on mine years back.
  11. V160 is a Getrag 'box Sounds like an exciting (and expensive) project!
  12. They came as standard on many cars but not all. It's about cost - an LSD is very expensive relative to an open diff.
  13. There is a huge handling benefit to having an LSD.
  14. It's a different route to the one most people take! Why fudge another two injectors in there when you could have six correctly sized ones?
  15. Each to their own - I just know if I were spending that sort of cash I would expect absolute perfection, and at that sort of budget I doubt that's what I'd get. I am a bit anal when it comes to perfection, though. I'd be bring my detailer mate with me to get the quote and to check the work done afterwards. Too many horror stories around... and a bad paintjob will seriously affect the value of your car. It's a job best done properly, especially on a car as desirable (and expensive) as yours!
  16. That's cheap as chips if the proper methods and kit were used. Was that a colour change too?
  17. If you want a proper, windows-out quality job then £4k won't touch it. Don't you like the colour of yours then?
  18. Agree, though his conversion sounds more like two larger turbos altogether which are then tweaked (hence 'hybrid) rather than modified stock ones. The ECU is going to be an important factor though!
  19. Wastegates don't make a sound. It's less the knowledge, more the ideas do some reading up on how turbocharging systems work and you'll find the answers to most of your questions.
  20. If that is intentional it's the funniest thing I've read on here for ages
  21. Ah, the Jazz1 school of photography is still going strong. Can you do a spork too? Supraspork has a lovely ring to it. In fact the OP should change his username immediately.
  22. £1500 is incredibly cheap for a proper job. - - - Updated - - - As long as you have the right offset and PCD, yes. Get searching
