  1. He can have my car for £15k.
  2. I don't understand the problem but I live in Basingstoke. Can't you post it?
  3. Unless you want to be disappointed, the J spec is 280bhp. As I said, anything more is speculation because there has never been a published account from the manufacturer. If your Supra has 320bhp then you're lucky... same as some of the BMW M series cars fluctuating by around 50bhp from the factory. I'm sure some J spec Supras did come with 280bhp, if only the early models.

    Burj Dubai

    Can I go instead?

    Bang!

I've yet to see a finished one that's quicker than your average single... sure there are ones being built but not finished yet so my comment stands.
  6. Agreed, he should be kept away from society at large but you can't argue with "justice" can you?
  7. He's just been released from prison where he served his term for the crime he did... and he's a British citizen. If anything, we should force him back and not let him leave the country IMO. That way it's only us Brits who need to worry about him. Besides, we'll do enough of that for the whole world anyway. The guy isn't going to have anywhere close to a normal life (and quite right too!) for the rest of his time on this planet.

    Bang!

Aerotops need a medallion to work properly and red ones are pink. Black is the fastest colour and single turbo cars are the holy grail. Welcome, enjoy your stay and your inevitible N/A-TT conversion thread
  9. OK let me put some perspective on all this. Firstly, my comment was ironic, because everyone wants to blame the government for everything, from oil prices to the smoking ban to the shape of kidney beans. Now I can understand that they do make some pretty dire decisions but let's be realistic, it's not the government that creates kiddie fiddlers like Glitter. After all, his reign of terror was conducted under a whole different administration. It's society as a whole and IMO it's a product of the unashamed capitalism the has run out country into the ground over recent years.
  10. I blame the government.

  12. So true. My £50k would be going towards the ZR1, I know that. Much more inspiring to me.
  13. No, J specs officially came with 280bhp, as per the OEM manufacturers agreement in place at the time. Anything more than that is pure speculation.
  14. K&N are on par with Apexi, they are one of the "good" brands. A lot of people use the 4" K&N on singles. I think people don't like them because they aren't Japanese
  15. We need someone to make jokes about.
  16. After a couple of weeks if you please, I'm moving soon.
  17. The stock figure for the J spec is 280bhp from the factory. K&N will be fine, it's a very high quality filter which is very under-rated on this forum. You don't need to uprate the turbos for 1.2 bar, they should be fine if your car is in good nick. Don't forget new plugs and a fuel pump for BPU. 550cc injectors are a good way to make sure you've always got enough fuel going in, but make sure you have something to control the fuelling and get rid of the lean spot where the turbos swap over. Most people go for a piggy-back system (Greddy E-Manage etc) on their cars due to cost but I went for a standalone ECU when I was BPU and that was fine as well. I only went full ECU swap because I had future plans. With all of the above you might see 420bhp... probably less but it's worth a shot. When on full chat BPU feels like you have been hit in the back with a train when you reach 4000rpm.
  18. It would be a huge improvement to the universe as we know it.
  19. galactically orgamsic if you ask me.
  20. I think we need a webcam to follow you around for a day. Sounds like it would be a barrel of tourette-inspired laughs!
