  1. But so can the seller, and they've priced it according to what they believe they can get. What use is it to tell someone they've priced above market?
  2. Erm... the reason you're saying it's too expensive?
  3. I think drawing peoples' attention to hidden issues is a different matter to telling someone their car is too expensive with no qualification.
  4. If I were doing it again I'd keep every single part to get it back to stock again. It's the only way to keep the car's value
  5. The thing that hurts the value of the nicer Supras is modifying them. Better-spec TT6 cars are already on the up.
  6. Not sure if it's just my computer, but those images look awful. They're badly pixellated and don't show off your work at all
  7. Defi do have a bit of a reputation for not being the greatest quality...
  8. Indeed, they'll be good. Some Porsche ones are good too, ditto Audi. They may be more cost-effective!
  9. I'd love to know which law prevents modifications to your car. They can do you for it being too loud if they test it, but that would be unusual. Very surprised to hear you've paid up without questioning it.
  10. Get a quieter one fitted? They can't argue then. What exhaust do you have? Is it a little over the top?
  11. The thing is, you have to fix yourself before you can get on with life. If you do anything else it'll remain hanging over you. Spend the time off planning what you're going to do about moving out.
  12. That is the main issue with this as far as I can see. The feel of the paddles is absolutely essential here. A nice, hefty metal one to pull feels really premium, plastic ones don't.
  13. That's crap mate. I've spent the past three months off with foot problems. Had a steroid injection in one yesterday under X-ray and it hurts like a bastar6. Looks like I may need surgery in both of them if it doesn't clear up, which is boring. Hope it gets better for you without going under the knife. - - - Updated - - - Oh, and getting hammered always helps.

    A small single will make 550bhp IMHO... that's what I thought I had when I was using a T61.

Note he said 'big single' which says to me serious modifications. You'll need a rebuilt engine, for example. Easy enough to hit £20k, believe me.

  17. Always loved Burna's car. Simple but effective, and exactly how a Supra should look IMO.

No. If you spend £20k on a proper big single build (that's how much one will cost once you've finished it) your car would probably be worth something around £25k. That's how modifying works, unfortunately.

Yes. Big single aero TT6 would be very desirable if done right. It's crucial you do it right though, or you'll never sell it.
  20. Don't forget postal. Of course it will. What else do they need to harvest your data for?
  21. Great choice. That is a fantastic motor. Probably up there with the best I've ever driven.
  22. There are laws against having sharp edges on the front of cars too. This is why you have to tape up a broken light or window before driving.
  23. Oh come on, it's easy! Drag racing is only the very start of a decent motor race
  24. Straight lines are for pussies I wouldn't want to build a competitive endurance Supra. That would cost simply stupid money.
