  1. A stock 911 GT3 is around 98db IIRC. 80 is VERY quiet. My friends RX7 is 94 on idle from 1.5m away and that's with a cat in!

    Vodka

It doesn't kill braincells, which a lot of people don't know. There is no evidence whatsoever. Happy daze

    Vodka

Believe it or not, when I started smoking cigarettes my asthma disappeared. It was even confirmed by my doctor. I've quit now and it's still not come back. Stranger things have happened!

If Vodka is 'treating' it, then speak to your doctor about it. He may be able to shed some light on your problem. But for tonight, carry on drinking
  5. Are you a doctor? Lots of pessimism in here today
  6. happy bunch tonight then lads!
  7. So what do you miss most from your youth? The idea is something you enjoyed that doesn't exist (or you don't think exists) anymore. Mine would have to be: The Magic Roundabout http://www.quizalot.com/images/quiz-pictures/Magic%20Roundabout.jpg ...and 'proper' ring pulls on cans of lager. http://www.yuenglingcans.com/files/PullTabs/pull-tab.JPG *sigh* I loved that sound.
  8. Watching the news Ewen? The leader of our armed forces. How very British.
  9. Institutionalisation is the word you're looking for, just like in Shawshank Redemption when Brooks hangs himself I know someone who was head Nurse at Broadmoor and she certainly had some stories about Mr Bronson.
  10. Agreed he would have read the script... it was inspired by his notes and books, after all. The film is what will generate widespread interest in him though, and that's what he's not allowed to see. A shame, if he will indeed remain locked up for ever.
  11. The Garmin SatNavs have always impressed me - give it a try! I'll be interested to see what you think as I need to find another SatNav soon as my current Garmin is a little bit old now.
  12. So what you're looking for is a software which takes in locations and gives you the optimum route to take them all in? I've not used Google for that. I used it to plan a few of our European trips, but I used it along with a simple map of EU roads and did the hard bit myself, joining up the dots.
  13. Won't Google maps do that?
  14. You're both talking about things that are actually portrayed in the film One other point to consider: although he gave the go-ahead for the movie he will never ever get to watch it. Make of that what you will.
  15. Excellent movie. I watched it a few nights ago and enjoyed it. It's probably not for the cringers, but if you're one of them I'm got a better film for you: 'Mum and Dad'. It's a British horror and is quite sufficiently twisted to get most people squirming.
  16. I'd love an action shot of my car mid-powerslide... can this be arranged?
  17. Depends where abouts they are registered. A lot of Jurgen's cars have XBR at the end. Mine did, and so does my mate's RX7.
  18. and the whole N1BR thing, and Nizam.
  19. This won't help, but: FIAT = fix it again tomorrow.
