Depends what you're using on the front IMO. I'm using Goodyear F1 GSD3 on the front, and R888 on the rear for road use. That works very well.

Believe me mate, I'm a little more up to speed than that Fact is, I have to write about common misconceptions all the time in the automotive trade. I do however make sure they're true before I do. I also drive a VW Golf R32, so know all about VAG build quality... it's an interesting comparison.

I like twin exhausts like some skylines have, with two 3.5" pipes next to each other. Saying that, from an engineering point of view I'd only ever have a single pipe on a Supra.

An interesting point of view. I guess I have heard of a few sensors failing on VAG cars, but generally they are fairly bulletproof in my experience. Much more so than a Japanese car of the same age. Still, our Supras are quite a bit older than the cars I've had experience with, so maybe you're right Long live the Supra!

Did you check plugs after changing the coilpacks?

Really? I think in the same hands a modern German car will withstand more abuse than a Supra over say a 10 year lifespan.

Define 'good'. I doubt you'll find one that is perfect for £2.5k.
