I doubt the head suffered much because of the technology involved helmet design, but I also reckon the restriction of movement created by the HANS device wouldn't have helped a huge amount. I'm not saying they're bad - in fact, I think they're revolutionary - but this is a freak accident.

I've been to the IOW quite a few times. In fact, a close family member is buried there. I wouldn't choose either to be honest. Get an Evo unless you're coming over to the mainland a lot. Neither are very comfortable on B roads, which is pretty much the best the IOW has to offer. The Supra is a completely different car to the RX7, but both will be shit on the IOW If you want a RWD car for those roads, look at an AE86. More power won't help you as much as being able to drive like a legend.

Nice price... pics of the faded paintwork would be a good idea to assess how much work needs doing but someone will get a bargain here if they know their detailing.
