Welcome That's a nice Supra you've got there. Any idea what the splitters are on the front bumper? I can't remember seeing those before.
  2. It might if you stay off boost, which you won't Cleaning your O2 sensor or replacing it might free up some more MPG.
  3. Love that car go on then, surprise us
  4. The two things to consider are: How much driving experience do you have? Do you have the knowledge (and money) involved in keeping a nicely spec'ed single on the road for the long-run? I haven't had the honour of owning an NA, but my current car started as a stock TT, went through BPU and is now single.
  5. How about a decent set of big twins? They're still quite rare on these shores. Expensive, but if correctly spec'ed can work wonders.
  6. You might want to state whether it is auto or manual
  7. A few have failed, a few are still going. Depends on the condition of the box and how you drive but drag racing won't do it any good at all once you've gone BPU.
  8. Getting in the 13s would be impressive, 14s more likely thought unless you're BPU.
  9. I've heard it's not that accurate, but I'd love to be proved wrong.
  10. This is true. Also, I've heard of nothing but problems with hybrid turbos. If I was building a Supra for 400bhp there's no way I'd up-rate stock turbos. It's that, then single for me. The extra (possible) 50-or-so BHP just aren't worth the hassle.
  11. RIP! Youngblood was one of my favourites and inspired many of my ice hockey moments over the years. Our whole team knew the entire script Love live Derek Sutton #9 an4v1IJxglI
  12. He certainly had an effect on how I've turned out He rode the first wave of proper celebrity chefs - and unlike most - actually commands some respect.
  13. Anyone who mentions Scoobies or Rotaries in this thread needs shooting. Mine has to be the Porsche Carrera GT with straight through pipes at WOT. One passed my mate while I was in his passenger seat at the 'Ring, window open (hot day) and the Porker's exhaust was around a meter from my ears. I almost feinted. It truely does have to be heard to be believed.
  14. How much would it cost to get that done?
  15. They've been 'clamping down' for years though, this isn't new. Every year something like this is leaked to keep the rumour mill spinning, and to prevent the worst of the hassle. However. They've also been 'clamping down' on Amsterdam's more fun activities, and as far as I can tell nothing much has changed. If you're (relatively) sensible on the way to the 'Ring and know how to drive on German roads then you've got absolutely nothing to worry about. Also, every time I've taken the Supe over there the Germans have nothing but love for her
  16. Sounds like a class A fuckup to me! Car shows are meant to have strict judging guidelines.
  17. I understand, but that's not the way these things have ever worked in the past. Cars good enough to win the 'best Toyota' award should be eligible for 'best in show'. The fact that that's not the case shows either a dodgy sponsorship deal with the winner, a lack of understanding of how a car show awards ceremony works or a fundamental issue with the way the show is judged.
  18. Have you paid your £10 membership fee? Welcome, I love Amsterdam. It's my favourite city (until the morning after!). If I was to drive my Supra (and a couple of other modified cars) to Amsterdam do you know somewhere safe we could park our cars? It needs to be somewhere with no speedbumps at all...
  19. Go to http://www.infowars.com and knock yourself out.
  20. I don't think they are, and even so, I was only enquiring... he's not trying to sell them, but asking about a tool to make them
