  1. It wouldn't because they're still making a big loss every car at 500 units. The ratios don't work.
  2. It couldn't be that much cheaper though. The engine isn't the expensive bit, relatively. It's the whole package.
  3. http://gfx.adzooks.co.uk/upl/A/CFB95C9E9C6F0F32F9B5513E49BF1E26.jpg A cheap shed attached to another cheap shed
  4. I've never seen any that would suit the Surpa, but they do exist.
  5. I like that one. I'll tell you what though, it takes a hell of a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
  6. The GT-R 4WD system is actually an exception to the rule, as it's not permanent 4WD. The torque is only converted to the front wheels when the back ones lose traction. Best of both worlds in terms of traction, but not in terms of weight or mid-corner correction or (IMO) driveability
  7. It's not all about drifting, but being able to balance the car mid-corner and correct angles. 4WD means transmissions losses as well, and substantial amounts of extra weight. Also, unless extremely advanced, understeer is a problem. Pretty much all race cars are RWD - there's a reason for that.
  8. I agree with your point, although 4WD?! No thank you.
  9. All that carbon fibre and 1480kg.

  11. All together now: GASP! Three hundred and thirty six thousand pounds.
  12. As Homer says, Toyota weren't messing around when they built the Supra. Stock is best.
  13. Why would it matter if the vinyl was applied properly... i.e. with no air trapped between it and the paint?
  14. I've no doubt these are genuine Recaro seats, they're just not what I was after. I'm a picky bastard
  15. Offer withdrawn as these aren't the optional seat from Toyota, but subtly different ones.
  16. £100 on top of my re-trimmed leathers with silver stitching and 'Supra' logo.
  17. Meh. It still looks better than the GTR (what doesn't?!), and by all accounts goes better too. Some well respected writers have called it the best car they've ever driven. White doesn't flatter it though. Silver is nicer.
  18. Tyre pressures? Also, rubber could have degraded if the tyres have gone down.
  19. Naaaah I think I could manage it on my own... might need some special gloves though to get the job done.
  20. There was a matt black RX7 with bright green wheels parked at my work for a while last time I was up here. That looked fairly OK.
  21. I've often wondered whether 'entering' a dolphin in the head from above could be considered rape.
  22. BADGER FTW. Also, ice cubes.
  23. Funny you should mention this... today on CAR's site: http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/News/Search-Results/First-Official-Pictures/Lotus-Exige-Scura-2009-first-pics/
