  1. Can't be worth much more than £1,500 with that sort of paint job and miles.
  2. It's all wrapped up in the biggest bunch of non-story PR out there, but then since when has TG ever been an informative consumer-focused publication? It doesn't need to be. It just needs videos of expensive cars going sideways and Richard Porter's jokes.
  3. Indeed. Details here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?82442-Club-Membership-Details-Including-Trader-amp-Hobbyist-Membership-Rules

You've got to love a Sunday evening thread.
  5. Was the oil and water fully warm before booting it? Sounds a bit like knock but I'm not sure of your full specs.

    hi im paul

I don't know where he is physically, spiritually or mentally, mate. Not heard much from him since his last thread.

Welcome Have a long old search on here to see if it'll work or not. I believe the person who came closest might not be available/coherent right now though!

Watch out for this well-known side-effect, as well as blowing the welds on the intake. You don't want him and the mad scientist to have to rip apart the block and replace the piston rings you've fried. http://i0.wp.com/blazepress.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/floor-ecclipse.gif?resize=640%2C360
  9. Welcome. I wouldn't touch anything that company does with someone else's barge pole. Have a search on here for more information. Paying the £10 membership fee will be the best money you spend today!
  10. They're better when held at constant revs for periods of time, like in aeroplanes - where they were designed for in the first place! I would be surprised to see more range extender cars using them either. That's a fascinating idea. Small engines don't weigh a lot, which throws up some interesting ideas in terms of packaging.
  11. It's something to do with sitting next to a bottle of gas, I'd imagine. That, plus there's no telling how badly it's fitted. Exploding cars aren't great for an insurance firm's point of view!
  12. It also has to be on the front-most part of the car, and you've got no excuse for not having it there because the Supra has fixings for it. This is something I did a lot of research into back in the day, and spoke to a couple of traffic coppers about it so I'd be less likely to get pulled all the time. Besides, ANRP cameras won't read behind your windscreen, so they can't make any money from you. They hate that.
  13. The 488 GTB is the facelift of the 458, as I said ^^^ up there
  14. Because it's highly illegal still... just made me smile in a thread where the OP is asking about solutions to stop him getting pulled over
  15. Stock engine, no indication of otherwise...
  16. Yes, SRD Tuning is the company you need. Few garages know these cars really well, but they are one of the best. - - - Updated - - - You'll need to pay the £10 full membership fee to PM anyone that isn't a mod. In the meantime, feel free to PM me instead
  17. No new ECU required. It'll run fine on UK fuel.
  18. Now that would be the way to find out where the weak points of your car really are!
  19. If your car is already getting attention from plod, a stick-on won't make any difference. Just get a proper one fitted
  20. I've changed the title of this one to make it more likely to get responses. It'll also help others searching for the same thing
  21. Yep, this is the 458's facelift
