  1. I'd have an LFA over a GTR every single day of the week. It's a far superior car. I've spent a long time talking about both cars with people who have driven both, on track and road, in anger and I can tell you not one of them will favour the GTR. The FT-86 should be an offering from Toyota with RWD and Subaru with 4WD (for rallying, presumably). There are rumours now that the Toyota version won't sport a Boxer engine after all, but nothing solid from Japan yet.
  2. Just to add some balance, I don't agree with the above. It's an NA car, it won't have the punch of a turbocharged motor. The power band is different, so you'll have to adjust your driving style to get the most from it. The engine might seem asthmatic at the higher end of the rev range, but I've yet to drive a V-configured 3.XL NA which doesn't. The low-down torque however does make up for it. The chassis is beautifully weighted and the steering very sharp and refined. You can hold some mighty big powerslides too . I've had quite a few hours driving the 350z in standard and modified form, and it's a fantastic modern coupe. All these people saying "oh no, it's a Renault engine!" might want to take a step back and do some reading. Not only is it a Nissan developed engine, but even if it was a Renault engine what would be the problem with that? Renault have and do make some brilliant cars.
  3. £52k. I still would, though.
  4. A well sorted single turbo would have made that.
  5. I'm sure he doesn't mind buying a turbo every 4000 miles.
  6. I think this thread needs something. sDCSJaPO3mQ
  7. I found HAWX pretty enjoyable on the PS3, especially online. The single-player game does seem short though. Can't help with the others, I'm like you in that I enjoy driving games on the whole. Call of Duty Modern Welfare has me slightly hooked though.
  8. I remember testing my RX at 99db at 2/3 throttle from 1m away on a single with no cats. I haven't measured the Whifbitz one yet, but I believe Paul has some results in one of his threads.
  9. It's louder, but I found the Blitz too quiet really. The Whifbitz one sounds more aggressive, but not in an obnoxious way. Not too 'in your face'... more 'I know I'm fast, why shout about it?'... if you get my drift.
  10. The Blitz nur RX will be too restrictive for your power levels Matt. Mine stopped working at around 450bhp and began causing boost issues. I'm now using the Whifbitz twin-box system on my single and it's perfect for me. Have you got the screamer already routed back into the downpipe? Because that will also make a big difference to how loud the car is. It does beg the question though: Why do you need a quiet exhaust? You car isn't exactly the most understated one about!
  11. Welcome Unusual to see a Supra from that side of the world that doesn't have 100000000000bhp
  12. That track looks nice. Get a price together!

  17. A search will reveal all you need to know, but I've gone out and done the hard work for you: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=59334
  18. I think it's to do with the benefits you get from British citizenship in the Western world. If someone was Iranian born and British raised, which do you think they'd quote at JFK airport? British, because there's less chance of hassle from the powers that be.
  19. You should have fed the first one more.
