  1. Yeah mine scrapes too. It annoys the hell out of me, but as far as I know other people can't hear it. Mine aches serious amounts when I'm stressed. If I'm tensing up, my neck lets me know about it! I'm also worried about the future... I think I'd be an ideal case for medical marijuana though.
  2. Welcome Forget the single turbo cars, they're are all very highly modified and started life as a TT anyway. Supraloopy's car is one of the nicest NAs going right now in my opinion.
  3. Same as me! I lost everything neck-down for three days before it started coming back. It still hurts now, 7 years on.
  4. That's a stunning car. Not tempted to keep it Jamie? It's not going to get any less valuable.
  5. Incredibly, mine wasn't in a car. I fractured two vertebrae in my neck in a skiing accident, and walked away... until the shock wore off, I collapsed and then was in a neck brace for a year. Woo!
  6. I know exactly what those guys think about the BNP, I've done extensive research on the subject. That's the point though, isn't it? The BNP can't shift the ties with these extreme-right groups, because the media won't let them. Stupid really, because once the fanaticism and spin are out of the way and the rose-tinted goggles are off, things look very different indeed. It makes me laugh how many people have come on spouting their racism cries in this thread. FFS, get a grasp on what's happening here. A revolt of disgruntled (psuedo-?) indigenous public is slightly different to what was happening 70 years ago. There's no denying immigration policy has had an adverse effect on the country IMO, but it's done now so the question for me is how do we go forward? Certainly the three main parties don't get my support. So who does? I'm not voting for the farcical BNP charade, I am unsure about UKIP, so what's left? I'd be interested in hearing who the immigrants would choose.
  7. I'm immensely proud to call myself English, and British. I think it's a fascinating time right now and I'm enjoying watching my country unfold. Who wouldn't love this country? Stunning scenery, brilliant driving, free health care, walfare support if you need it, beautiful women and incredible history. For me it speaks volumes that immigration has become such a problem, but not in the way most think. I reckon it shows what a great country we live in. The situation with regards to the election is captivating. Many groups of people have vastly different takes on what should happen next. First, we've got the militant racialists. No-one really agrees with militant racism do they? It's taboo to even talk about. I couldn't really comment, because I don't know any and suspect to a large extent they don't even exist, except in the minds of a few scaremongers. Next, we have the BNP. Tied with the National Front, Combat 18 and other racist skinhead groups in the past (now there's a proper group of nutters), it's never managed to shift the links to extremism. No matter how many decent and fair sounding policies they release, they still get called racists and hate-mongers. Having a bumbling idiot of a front-man certainly doesn't help, but they're nowhere near the danger the media make out (as far as I can work out). Less of an extreme solution now that they're a real political party (for extreme, see above) but still controversial because of past ties. Let's be honest, they're never going to be able to mould that into a winning formula. However, I think it's a shame to think that our media, who should be there both to hold governments to account and to provide fair, accurate and contemporaneous reporting, are responsible for a basic breakdown of democratic ideals culminating in the three main parties being ring-fenced. On to the fanatical anti-racists. Many of these have very little idea what they're getting so mad about, which provides me with a constant source of amusement (mentioning no names ). It's worth noting, just because you are able to read and digest your favourite polluted media dump of a newspaper, that doesn't mean you understand the issues or the facts behind the editorial party line. It's easy to shout at the TV or throw your keyboard at your monitor. It's much harder to smile, keep quiet, remain tolerant and actually do something constructive with your knowledge. Unfortunately, I believe this rift between the parties above will result in a government not far removed from the one that called the election in the first place. It's a circle of lies and spin, constructed in part to keep us slaves of the norm. That's my take, anyway. And now, for his next trick, Gaz6002 will finally shut up.
  8. What size are they, and will they clear UK brakes?
  9. http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=21852
  10. That car did a 6m58 lap of the 'Ring this week
  11. Understandable, my friend is on the list for the GB but I'm trying to talk him into being slightly less cheap and paying full-whack to get it when he needs it. You can spend lifetimes waiting for these group buys!
  12. There is a group buy on one of the RX7 forums for a 044 for around £60... there's quite a wait though.
  13. I can't begin to imagine how much offence that name could cause.
  14. The Max Power sticker really sets the back end off!
  15. I like how you worded that! Impressive!
  16. My point wasn't meant as a 'zeig heil' mate It's just I think it's disgusting we're basically force-fed political parties which make a mockery of what is meant to be our own, personal decision. Democracy it ain't. I felt the same when the BNP were let onto Question Time, and I said so on here at the time.
  17. Well at least the BBC are finally letting other parties have a say.
  18. So it would require some serious mapping capability then... same as the VGT thing. Would be silly doing one and not the other. When will we see the project thread, Mig?
  19. I wonder if it comes with a gearbox ECU? If it does, I wonder if someone (Ryan) could work out how to fudge the signals to make it work with a Supra. This sort of mod is right up my street. Shame my wallet disagrees though. I'd LOVE a Supra with a pair of VGT turbos and a DCT box. Perfect
  20. He's already got one, and FWIW, the R8 is well out of the price range this thread is talking about. BTW, if you think the sun shines out of Nismo's arse, why have you got a Supra?

    mk1vsupra...

Didn't know Cobrastang worked for them.
  22. Well me and my mate are up for it (2 cars). Wonder if anyone else could be persuaded. If not, I'm just going to go to the 'Ring and Spa, then have a proper holiday for a change
