  1. ^^^ I think that's all we need to see here
  2. I had to go to Scotland today. It was wet and cold, but the highlight was just how many Supras I saw compared to down saaaaaf. Is this a thing? For balance, it wasn't just Supras or Scotland, but there seemed to be far more 'interesting' cars oop thar than down where I'm more familiar with. Any ideas? Also: trains. They make you think. Especially when there is free wine.
  3. But you broke your own rule... you said your turbos! Mine was probably taking it to SRD. Once Lee worked on it he fixed a number of traders' messes and I ended up with 600bhp for 40,000 hard miles with not one issue. Awesome car.
  4. Knowing what I know, I know where I'd trust! It's just a shame some of the things we've seen have to remain hidden for one reason or another. It's worth noting there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes on this site - ALL of it in the members' interests.
  5. Not used it but I'm not sure it would be particularly good on a road car... sounds like it would be noisy and uncomfortable! Also, whoever wrote that advert is having a laugh
  6. It isn't really what I signed up for! Work's for losers.
  7. The question is: did you need some help to fit it?
  8. Is this really a "who can fit a sticker for me" thread?!
  9. Isn't it easier and safer to have the car transported there?
  10. I've reported it to the supermod team to look at.
  11. The mentality of people spending over £50k on a car and then letting someone cover it with film for £2,500 is totally beyond me.
  12. See, this paragraph says otherwise: If I were an awkward insurance company having a bad day, this is how 'minor' these things are: Two seats - they're the things keeping you safe and secure in the car. Cheap or badly fitted seats aren't ideal in any situation. Steering wheel - if it falls off... Oil cooler - could easily be a fire risk, not to mention the fact that in an accident you could lose your engine if it's damaged and you'd expect to claim for it. I'm not trying to be an idiot here, and you've clearly learnt a lesson from the situation, but it always pays to show why these things are important to insurance companies. Hopefully at least one member sees this and decides to declare everything rather than nothing
  13. Sounds like a breakdown in communication between underwriter and insurance company. Still, you need to tell your insurer every time you install a modification to avoid this sort of thing happening. You were lucky this time!
  14. Eh? I can only talk about what I've seen with my own eyes, and that includes the work of several major car manufacturers. Many refuse to take 'wraps' as colour schemes in the UK even when they take it in Europe because the finish is never perfect. Maybe we have differing versions of 'perfect' though.
  15. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=cheap+plastic+garden+furniture&oq=cheap+plastic+garden+furn&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0l3.8668j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  16. Indeed. I suspect they won't be all that quick, either...
  17. It's a good event, especially if the weather's good. Shame the Nissans won't be running though.
  18. Has anyone driven one yet? Some BMW 'boxes these days are really quite notchy. I'd prefer the Getrag because while it's a little heavier-handed, it's proper known quality and will help protect the value of the car better.
  19. I've never seen a perfect wrap. Even car companies don't get it right.
