  1. It seems to be the accepted thing for insurance companies to do nowadays. They rely on you saying "screw it, I'll just renew anyway". Like phishing scams on the net, I think they play it as a numbers game. Imagine the amount of older people who wouldn't think twice, but insure their car again simply because they've used that company for years.

  3. The Ford GT is perfect for work like this, I believe it
  4. I love the drive there and back actually, but I suppose that's because I'm a bit of a rascal on trips like these.
  5. Matt, you need to sit down with someone who's been and let them explain how wrong you are The car park is like the greatest car show ever, the roads around the track are close to perfection and the track itself is a test track that puts the car and driver under every type of challenge you could imagine. It's a mecca for petrolheads.

Oh right, from your first post I thought you meant new. You could try the auctions on Yahoo Japan, but I imagine the shipping costs would ruin you. Same with American stuff. Maybe someone who builds race-prepped Supras will have one lying around.

Well have you tried using the power of the search engine to find out for yourself?

  9. I heard that, but I also heard they're not so 'low car friendly'... however, we'll be looking at it all again for our Spa trip this year.
  10. Firstly, it's one word Nurburgring. Factor two tanks of petrol in - at least - to get you from Manchester to the 'Ring if you intend to enjoy the drive. The ferry from Dover to Calais usually costs around £70, but it depends when you book. Laps are quite expensive (22e), but the price goes down the more you buy. Accommodation is as expensive as you want it to be, we found a decent place for fourty-ish Euros a night. For one of our 4 or 5 day trips I'd be setting aside £500 to make sure I enjoy it but also your car will need to be 110% before you go. I'd advise at least new tyres, new brake pads and a full service. Four days is better IMO, if you can work it so you get two full days track action. Remember the track isn't open full-time to the public, so check the schedules before you go. Would also be wise to miss big race weekends, but the atmosphere is better then so up to you if you like busy or quiet(ish). The 'Ring is more of a theme park this year (or so I've heard) and it's a lot more 'touristy'. That means more clubs, bars and hotels
  11. I blame computers. Everything was fine until they fucked it all up.
  12. If it didn't break from time to time I think I'd worry I was going soft.
  13. I have a winter one, just waiting for my mate to send over the high res version so I can mail it over. Low res:
  14. If he doesn't want to do any bodywork then he should steer clear of fibreglass kits altogether.

    New Lambo?

That first pic isn't a Lambo one.
  17. Ah right, I see what you mean. Fair point.
  18. I'm around 50% on this now too, looks like I might have to work.
  19. Can I ask why? I've yet to see a justification for being there that I can relate to.
  20. Nothing wrong with using nitrous... as long as you're doing it properly and not just bolting it in there because Brian O'Connor did. Did you car top out at 140mph this morning?
