My turbo is now for sale after my little upgrade. My car, with stock cams and 1.4 bar of boost made 512bhp with this very turbo. The seals are gone so it will need rebuilding. Price is now £150 - snap it up quick before I find something interesting to do with it. Pictures can be arranged upon request.

I've just got in from an hour-long drive back from Lee's shop after upgrading my car to a Borg Warner turbo. What an amazing machine. It's quiet, civilised, well mannered and absolutely, 100% pant-moisteningly fast. I can't rave enough about these turbos. I'm using the 88/75 with a 1.01AR and it spools the same as my old T61... but with stupid power and immense torque. It's a different car now, and I couldn't be happier. Massive thanks to Lee - not only is his work top notch, but he's the sort of guy anyone would feel happy leaving their pride and joy with. The cars he works on are treated as well as his own. Also, thanks to Baldy for the excellent work spraying my stock bumper and as usual, big thumbs up to Ryan for sorting out the mapping. I'm a happy boy - doubt I'll get any sleep now before tomorrow

Both would be an idea. Smarty's car is in a much higher state of tune - you can then compare the two setups. For instance, mine has stock cams and internals.

I haven't booked any track time. Someone will probably twist my arm at some point, but tracking the car the day after I get it back probably isn't a good idea

Those Veilside ones are very good value mate - especially because they have the electric bits too. I'd be buying those in your situation. Very rare too

Well you've got a lovely car in your garage, so I'm not going to tear it apart here - even though I've got a badge which looks as you describe, and I'm picking up another at Japfest on Saturday from the guy who makes them. However, when I see a Supra with a fibreglass bodykit on it I cringe now, having owned and driven one for a few years.
