  1. No, not Ken Block. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/10206526.stm I like Boris. He's exactly what we need in a political figure - he knows exactly which parts of politics to take seriously. None of them. Discuss.
  2. I bet the numberplate ' ' cost you a fair bit.
  3. I don't know where to begin ripping that one apart.
  4. Interesting project. You'll need a lot of tyres making that kind of torque at 2k RPM
  5. I thought a knobcap was a safety measure!
  6. Or enjoy every last second of their work.
  7. Equally though, there are enough electronic aids now to eradicate the inherent issues with a FWD car, without having to drive two more wheels. You should remember too that the FRS isn't actually a sports car per sey. It's a hot hatch, and the best ever hot hatches have been FWD. Ford already did the whole 4WD rally car thing, long before Subaru and Mitsubishi got their act together. The RS mantra since then has changed though, and now it's all about affordable performance. The FRS has that in spades. I still wouldn't be seen dead in one though.
  8. 4WD in a short wheelbase like that will mean understeer anyway, so why not take the additional drivetrain losses away and ditch the driven rear wheels, meaning more power on the road? The FRS does what it does very well IMO. The Megane R26.R comes from a similar mindset.
  9. I used Autoglym shampoo, Autoglym super deep shine polish, then Dodo Juice Purple Haze wax. Oh, I did also use a lot of scratch-X and a few clay bars when I did my 'big clean' a few weeks ago. My results are in here - excuse the rotary
  10. Does Michael get your disciples? God, I'm already confused.
  11. It states the car is pretty much brand new, and one has been for sale longer than the other. Personally I'd have either in a heart-beat.
  12. I do like turtles, but I absolutely love tortoises nowadays. I've got a funny job in this respect. I get deadlines that I adhere to, but a lot of the time I do the work when I have to, there and then. It means I can juggle a lot into my days, but sometimes work bank holidays and late into the evenings to get things just right. I don't mind at all though, it's just an extension of something I'd be doing regardless, but it's nice to get paid for it. When I used to work in 9-5 roles I always made sure I was there in enough time to fire up the old PC, ingest caffeine and settle in for the day. Also I'd start to shut things down after I'm meant to finish, but I was the only one who did. Most people treated the job like school - when the bell goes, you sprint off as quickly as possible.
  13. TBH, I'd be happy if my BOV didn't make a noise at all. But it doesn't, so that doesn't help you Have you tried playing with the spring on the BOV? They're adjustable...
  14. http://www.jspecauto.com/catalog_product.aspx?prod_id=790 Where does it say £1300? Still, that's a US company so postage will be laughable.

    Hiya!

If you scream REALLY loud I'll use second gear. Obviously I wasn't talking about me though.

  17. After a bit of elbow grease and some dodo juice:
