  1. Just get a cardie and put your feet up.
  2. If the front and rear aren't fibreglass and the wings are metal then £7k starts making a lot of sense IMO
  3. Living the dream - for one weekend at least. I'm absolutely head-over-heels in love with classic racing these days. Awful news about the Lotus though. Hope he's OK.
  4. Nope, your car needs that smooth look mate
  5. Oooooh they were rather silly then
  6. That would be a good idea IMO... Noel's work is pretty impressive. His Skyline was amazing A load more resilient than fibreglass too. I wonder if you could get a thin coat of paint over it so you can see the weave... like the F40
  7. Sounds like the insurers sold the written-off car. I had this when I smashed up my last Supra.
  8. I know - but not many OEM car parts are, and TRD usually produce OEM-quality stuff.
  9. I'm a bit surprised that TRD would commission a kit which is made of fibreglass. Not exactly the best material to use on a performance car.
  10. What material is the TRD kit made of?
  11. It's also worth noting that if your tyres are 20% under-inflated you'll use around 10% more fuel.

:search:not sure I understand that! I'd steer clear of buying anything from Ebay TBH. Try Whifbitz.
  13. The engine in the car we're talking about isn't exactly 'shy'
  14. I found the 350z out-handled my Supra easily. The weight distribution is fantastic and the chassis really works, with direct steering and extremely controllable when pushing on. The engine is a bit asthmatic though.
  15. That sounds much more like it Can you PM me with a bit more of the story please? Do you still have the car or have any pictres of it? Do you remember the route you took? That could be perfect!
  16. As epic as I'm sure that was, not sure the demographic of our readers is quite prepared for your sorded yarn
  17. Bump - someone out there must have an interesting story (that we can use!)
  18. someone's been to the pub at lunch again, haven't they?
  19. Speed cameras aren't political correctness they were designed to increase the speed of cornering, and employed in the UK as a way of: 1) trying to kurb road deaths relating to speeding and then: 2) as a way for local and national authorities to fund other projects. If they were politically correct they'd have called them 'velocity recording devices'. Don't confuse the nanny state with being PC - they're two very different evils. IMO, of course
  20. I think he's bought that 2JZ Back to the Future car

    Good buy???

No, most were auto. In fact, I once heard that one in 25 TT Supras was manual. That's probably wrong though. Depends what you're after TBH. 85% of car buyers would never consider a grey import, let alone a modified one.
