that's the thing with dynos. Unless you get properly anal an scientific about it there's never going to be a true consensus. Much better to race other people instead See what you mean about the Escort now. I was being an idiot, which isn't unusual.

Sounds good - like I was saying, I haven't got an issue with your dyno. In fact, I believe it's the same as SRR? A good friend of mine's RX7 was on yours the other day making around 400bhp on stock twins apparently until Jason (Super7) turned the boost down. He was most impressed 330lb/ft as well! One question: why did the Escort not lose more than 2hp through the drivetrain? That's mighty efficient! Or are you saying it's reading low relative to the engine dyno? Or am I being an idiot?

It's the best I've seen by quite a margin. Would be interesting to see what it does on SRR too though. Not because I doubt AFR's dyno one tiny bit, just that most of the other high power BPU cars have been run there so it would be easy to compare. You've also got the highest spec BPU car I think I've seen

Were you offered just the turbos or the manifold and the rest too? If it was just the turbos forget it, you're in for massive investment.

Are you doing anything to strengthen the chassis? I'd have thought that much torque + aero + wide rear tyres would equal quite a bit of flex?

You'd be lucky! It was a handling course and there's no way I'd take any of those corners at anywhere close to 35mph He is, it was fairly low-speed. It was funny at the time, but thinking back it's just another event highlighting how awful these things are.
