  1. The search function reveals all: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/search.php?searchid=5108140&pp=&page=3

    NA-T vs TT

I'd say something where you use your own car, with an instructor, on an airfield with nothing to hit, is your best bet. You can then build skills and experience from there.

    NA-T vs TT

I'd also suggest making good use of the search function - this question has been covered countless times in the past so you can see the pros and cons
  4. There are always teething problems with a build like this, but man, what an awesome car you have. Keep us updated!
  5. So by your logic a 1-litre manual Polo BlueMotion is more fun than a Ferrari 458 Speciale. Now THAT is some logic.
  6. Well, there are far more than two numbers of gears available in current automatic gearboxes for a start. In the past week I've driven five, six, seven, eight and nine-speeds. These days autos are quicker, more efficient, easier to drive and cheaper to tax than manuals.
  7. erm... There is a reason you can't buy manual Ferraris anymore.
  8. "it's not the car you drive, it's the driver who's driving the car, who's doing the driving"
  9. Suspension by TWR K-Series engine
  10. My colleague told me he's spoken to them too, along with a chap in North Korea and Jordanian royalty. He has cards to prove it.
  11. Nice to see he holds the community in such high regard. What an insult!
  12. It also takes less time to use the search function than to make a new thread. Posting in an existing thread if you don't get your answers is far more helpful for everyone involved - especially the people who have to police such things.
  13. Well to be fair, your question isn't exactly helpful either. So you're going to rebuild your NA head, then "putting a TT on it" would do what? Do you mean big twin turbos, the stock twins, an Audi?
  14. Hmmm. That's a bigger gamble than sitting on a beehive.
  15. Depends if you like driving or the image, really.
  16. Palmer can't get anywhere near the cash Maldonado brings in, though. The fact he's been allowed to crash last for so long in F1 shows that matters rather a lot.
  17. One of my colleagues has a 15-plate one that's been back twice
  18. Relatively, it's the same as someone paying £882 for a respray on a £15k Supra, so not that bad I suppose. It isn't a respray though, it's a factory optional extra. I bet it'd have to go back to the factory for major paint repairs too.
  19. Unsurprising Lambo breakdown alert. The Porsche is Paul Bailey's. The paint job cost £47k.
  20. They aren't the only people making a killing that way. Caterham, Ginetta, they all do it!
  21. Demand vs cost. People want connected cars, but don't want to pay for truly resilient solutions. It's worth noting that this hacking thing isn't quite as simple as the articles are making out. It's pretty much impossible unless under very specific circumstances.
  22. I know Williams have been doing some very clever things, especially with Jaguar and hybrid buses! Tesla is the most realistic solution right now though. I know a few owners and they love them!
