I'm not sure why people still think the renewal is the price you'll have to pay. Shop around and watch the price drop... it's not just Sky who do this. It's a recognised technique to squeeze more money from the public.

Personally I'd go with a BW turbo, I love mine. Still, it's always better to buy a kit that's designed for the turbo unless you have a weird fetish for fabrication.

Most single turbo cars have compressor stall, which is the sound you're hearing. The whistle is something the T51R is particularly famous for, but other turbos do make similar noises. Moved this thread to Supra chat as it's not technical.

It can, but it costs and you need to find the right person to build it. Mine is very good in its current state of tune, but I've over-engineered on quite a few aspects and had the help of Lee P and Ryan I think once you enter the world of built engines you factor in quite a few more variables and generally won't find the same reliability.

They don't make the PFC any more and you'll pay big money if you can find one. Why don't you just get a piggyback fuel controller rather than an ECU?

I'm not over 30 and I think it looks awful - but then I'm a sucker for the stock Supra's lines TBH. I don't mind Do Luck though, or mental JGTC style. Needs a proper turbo engine or V8 though.
