  1. The R888s aren't exactly great in the wet either dude. They're not useless, but after I got completely sideways at 90mph on the M23 in sixth gear because of aquaplaning I had to start admitting there are better tyres out there for wet weather driving. I haven't tried the BF rubber so can't comment on them.
  2. You'll notice a huge difference in grip in the dry over the T1-Rs mate. It transforms the handling.
  3. The R888s are a good tyre once they've got some heat in them, pretty shocking in the wet though but I suppose that's not a concern. They should last 2k if you don't go everywhere sideways - a single track day can kill them if you like oversteer. A lot of it is down to driving style though. They're a good compromise between cost and grip IMO. Surprisingly noisy, but that doesn't bother many Supra owners.
  4. Ooooh I thought you were on about going to Germany to get it as cheap as this guy does, my bad
  5. I wonder if they'd charge you duty to import it when you got to the docks? If they make you pay UK fuel duty at the current rate you'll probably end up spending serious money...
  6. Unfortunately it's usually one or the other mate, don't expect super-grippy tyres to last very long if you make use of all that power
  7. One of the better build threads I've seen. Subscribed
  8. Morally yes, but that's not how our legal system works.
  9. This. Except the main reason is the amount of people claiming personal injury settlements. For every £100 the average insurer takes in premiums it pays out £120 in personal injury claims.
  10. Am I the only one who wouldn't want a 4WD Supra?
  11. Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta would suit you down to the ground. They excel in the wet but are great in the dry too. I have them and rate them very highly. http://www.blackcircles.com/tyres/brands/vredestein/sessanta
  12. I quite liked Legard. Would have prefered Crofty though TBH.
  13. My car with twin box on a single with no screamer: 5mbX3Iy2P9I
  14. That's what I thought, mine hits 1.5 bar easily... I reckon it'd do more, but my Whifbitz twin box exhaust is the next restriction.
  15. My airbox uses a stock sized TRD panel filter:
  16. Mine probably flows less than the ARC Scott, and it's no restriction at all.
  17. I'm using a Fluidyne one and that's brilliant. People rate the Koyo ones too IIRC. Shipping from the USA will probably price those two out though. I'd go for the SRD one if it was me.
  18. Erm... OK. I always thought OP was the person starting the thread. Every day's a school day
