  1. Welcome Interested in the pick'n'mix wheels! Tell us more...
  2. Did we find out about the run-flats yet?
  3. I've got some experience of a Roadster. Shocking gearbox and build quality, and don't modify it unless you like big bills. That said, I had it properly sideways within minutes. Nice little chassis.
  4. I didn't want mental width at the back of my car. I'm only running 265s because TBH I like how it drives in that spec. However, once you get some heat into them the Vreds out-class every 'normal' tyre I've tried (four years running a single turbo Supra, over 50,000 miles - but pretty hard miles, I take no prisoners lol). Obviously the R888s are better in the dry as they're a much softer compound with a more aggressive tread pattern, but in the wet I don't think even the Goodyear F1 GSD3 performed quite as well. In the dry the Vreds are easily on par, if not better, than the Toyo T1-R and Goodyear F1. They grip like hell both laterally and on acceleration, and I can usually use most of third once they're warm; which not a lot of single turbo owners can boast (I have 510lb/ft torque). I got a special deal from Camskill, but I'd pay full price next time as on top of everything I've said, I've done a few day's worth of extra-hard driving on them and they're wearing well too. Overall I'm pretty happy
  5. I rate the Vredesteins very highly. Use them on my single and they're brilliant, especially in the wet.
  6. Last year was good fun - the convoy from Reading is always interesting
  7. If you're nice, we will be too
  8. Fixed your link for you. Make sure the garage recognise and agree to fix the problem with the handling before you commit to buy
  9. I used Arch Enemy too. Seemed good value to me.
  10. In an ideal world you should have asked her if it was OK to serve dinner now or wait until she'd finished her gum-flapping.
  11. Cheeky cheeky! Let us know how you get on
  12. Yeah I got that from the part where he called it a heat shield... can't see why you'd need the turbo mounted so low for that though, unless you were cutting it around the manifold runners and separating the turbo from the block?
  13. A quick search using the terms 'Nurburgring accommodation' reveals the following link: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?173101-The-N%FCrburgring-trip-planning-tips-amp-general-advice&highlight=nurburgring+accomodation
  14. Think their server is struggling with all the attention.
  15. Sounds like several ex-members on this very site
  16. Just a tiny bit impatient there
  17. I had it when I broke my neck. Nothing to worry about, like said above it just gets a bit warm when they take the scan.
