  1. Besides, they're all shitters on there right now
  2. Threads merged, and no, this is NOT the new Supra.
  3. You need Suprash http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/member.php?435-Suprash
  4. I'd like one with track mods rather than drifting ones if at all possible. Engine doesn't matter
  5. Probably a long-shot, but does anyone know of an AE86 for sale with some decent track mods?
  6. The chattering isn't the wastegate. It's compressor stall caused by ineffective release of back pressure when the throttle is closed.
  7. Oh I see what you did there. Of course, it is pretty much the same car. I don't think many people have driven the second-gen version yet.
  8. It was on the prelude, wasn't it?

    Best Browser???

FF used to be awful when I used it. I didn't pimp my browser though - less time spent fiddling means more time to productively watch car videos
  10. 265bhp turbocharged four cylinder, light weight and rear-wheel drive. I'd have one.

    Best Browser???

Internet Explorer. It just works. The others (Firefox, Chrome etc) get too unstable far too quickly and keep crashing.
  12. I'm a fan of the Moon Watch personally
  13. There won't be any room. The reason they're using the Scooby engine is so it can be mounted low down between the front wheels to lower the weight distribution. And no, this isn't the next Supra. It's based on the AE-86.
  14. Well that's OK then, because selling fake goods on here wouldn't be a good thing
  15. Are these genuine brands or fakes?
  16. I think a PM to tooquicktostop would be wise...
  17. Put it up for £16k and see how much interest there is. Because it's a UK spec I think it'll sell easily - much easier than mine, anyway.
  18. This situation has given them a bit of a deadline/kick up the ass. I was talking to a guy a few minutes ago from another large insurance firm who said exactly the same thing was being worked on there, too. We've all known for years that the system is flawed, but finally these companies are going to have to do something about it.
  19. But think about it: if you can't use a driver's sex to assess risk even though it's proven that young men crash more than young women, then how can you use age? It blows the current system right out of the water. What they'll do is introduce real-time monitoring of your driving behaviour and build a profile from that. The AA and Zurich are investigating how to implement it as we speak.
  20. If you read the article, it says premiums for males should drop slightly while females' will rise significantly. That's only if the industry can't find another solution before December 2012 though
  21. In a nutshell, probably not. For long. It'll change the whole insurance industry though, that's for sure. I can see telematics being brought in very soon now in place of risk profiling. You lot will love that 'big brother gone bad etc etc'
  22. It could be your job or where you live, or any number of things. Each company is different and the way they each assess your risk profile is different too. Don't take offense, the whole car insurance industry is pretty much screwed up whoever you are.
  23. This explains it: http://www.parkers.co.uk/News/News/102k-for-insurance-cover/
