  1. Deposit taken but not officially sold until I have the money It's on its way to Holland as we speak.
  2. bloody expensive, but get the V10 TDI engine and you won't stop smiling
  3. Fair play - now all it needs is 1200bhp
  4. Cheers mate, yep I aware of that. I'm lucky in that my budget should allow me access to some of the nicer models (I hope!) but TBH I'm not set on the '86 yet. I still have a racing itch I need to scratch
  5. Agreed, the Rodeo Denver is pretty basic too, and has poor build quality and the turning circle of a moon. The Navara is a much better vehicle.
  6. They'll take your keys, give your car a 'service' and then find a hundred things wrong which they'll want to fix. Halfords recent took over Nationwide Autocentres BTW
  7. I didn't have an EGT gauge, but it's best to have one really mate.
  8. Mine just stopped working completely, the screen went blank. I got an AEM AFR gauge instead and it worked perfectly.
  9. They're also unreliable. I know of several members - including myself - who have bought them only to have them break.
  10. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?221311-VFCC-(Voltage-Fuel-Cut-Controller)&highlight=VFCC
  11. It's possible. Personally I'd just turn your boost right down. As it's your first track outing you won't get anywhere close to being able to use over 1 bar on a Supra. Even a stock Supra is quick enough for a novice
  12. Loads of scare-mongering, even more elf and safety, not enough science or fact.
  13. AFR = air fuel ratio EGT = exhaust gas temperature Personally I'd go fro AFR as you can see how your engine is running and potentially spot any problems before they cause damage. Your best bet is to have both though.
  14. Could you not ask someone else to send it for you?
  15. How can it take the place of a car that hasn't been made since 2006? The idea behind the FT-86 is a recreation of the AE86 Corolla, a lightweight, rear-wheel drive coupe.
  16. The FT-86 will be built, and should hit showrooms in 2012. It's also very unlikely to wear the Celica badge. There was never a RWD lightweight Celica.
  17. I accept Paypal and bank transfer only.
  18. Would you care to stake any money on that? I could do with a laugh.
  19. That's annoying! (I live in Cambridgeshire now though )
  20. Nowhere near nice enough, and over-priced too.
